My wife has used JT for years - he is a master at figuring out the style to fit you. I started coming about 2 years ago. He is great. Funny and a great friend now.

I'm a dude that enjoys a really nice hair cut. Actually, I have to have a really nice hair cut. Since I am a poor planner, I also have to have a few really great places on hand to call at the last second to get these really nice hair cuts. David's is most def one of the best in the area. As a 30ish y/o guy who teeters on the edge of trendy and professional, I have always walked away with a great cut. Lindsey, Karie, Angie, Shannah and Jason have all done this future silver fox (ok to reference oneself as a fox?) well in the past... oh and today. I am a stylists worst nightmare... my mom did hair as I was growing up (free haircuts & mom knows best) and I give very little direction, still expecting miracles to happen with this waterful of luciousness. Like always, Lindsey did amazing communicating with me throughout the afternoon to ensure the cut, length and fade ended up becoming the work of art I had hoped for after sitting down and saying "ya, i need a good cut." So of course, I ended up with some Instagram worthy hair that will be sure to get a handful of double taps and comments over the next couple days (or months/years/never, im really not that popular). However this pseudo-hipter metro fellow (yes, I wear thick framed glasses) is quite please with the outcome and level of service I received at David's today and always.

I decided to switch up salons and saw all the good reviews for Davids. However, the last 2 times I went there I got totally screwed. I had hair down half my back and went to support my 6 year old getting her hair cut. The hair dresser cut my hair THREE inches too short!!! David told me I could come see him and he would give me a $50 credit and throw me some free products. My grandmother just passed away so I decided to go get my hair dyed today. The ONLY reason I even went to this salon was bc I thought I would get a discount. He told me he would blow dry my hair for free (I didn't even want my hair blow dried but I thought he was helping me out) and my eyebrows waxed for free. I then found out that I was getting that in lieu of the credit (AFTER it was already done) and I bought oil (that he didn't give me for free btw). I just got home, and my face, forehead, and neck are covered in brown hair dye and I just paid $237!! I didn't even want my hair blow dried and I just got totally screwed over! This is the second time I have walked away from that salon crying. I'm supposed to go to a funeral and visit family looking like this?!? I was supposed to get a discount and free products, and instead I paid 3/4 of a paycheck (that i need while i travel) to have hair dye all over my face at my grandmother's funeral. Wth!? The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is bc I love Angie and I like the color (just not all over my face!)

I've finally found it!  A salon & stylist (David) who actually listen to me.  I cannot tell you how happy I am when I leave the salon.  My grey is gone and it lasts.  If you're looking for fantastic color and a fabulous cut, this is the place.  Try it!!   They even offer a $10 discount for first-time customers...deal.

I found David's Salon quite by accident, after getting a Living Social coupon in my email.  I moved to Charlotte in February, and here it is October and still haven't found anyone local to cut/style my hair.  Needing a new look, I jumped on the deal.  And what a deal it was!

I booked my appointment with Brooke, and I could not be happier!  My first impression of the salon is that it was warm and inviting, and when Brooke arrived (I got there early!), she made me feel really welcome and immediately comfortable.

I brought a picture of what I had in mind for a new (very short) style.  She took the time to evaluate my hair and my face and make suggestions on how to tweak it so that it would suit me better.  When she was done, I really loved my new look.  The first thing I did was book my next appointment...now that I've got a great new look, I don't want to let it go ever again!

Anyway - easy location, great folks, super products, and a ton of talent.  What more could you want?
