I was looking for a stylist that could work specifically with curly hair and found Doretta. So happy I did. She works with Deva Curl products and provides Deva cuts meant for curly hair. Deva cuts cut to the curl to make sure your style falls just the way it should. Doretta is a great stylist and really spent time ensuring I had a great cut and helped me choose the right products for my hair type. I recently had her color my hair and she made sure I was satisfied with the color-- lightening it when it wasn't just so. Her customer service is excellent and she's a great stylist. I've recommended others to her and they've left just as satisfied as I was.
I'm new to the area, and have very curly hair, so I've been scouting around for someone who really knows how to cut it. I have had the Deva cut before, in the salon that invented it, and happily the website lists stylists all over the country who have trained in the technique. It is VERY different from any other haircut I have ever had, and really makes way more sense for curly hair.
This is my second Deva cut in Greensboro, and definitely more like the one a got at The Devachon salon in NYC. Dee cut my hair dry, and curl by curl like you're supposed to, and the difference is night and day. I'm back to my shake and go style that I love! Thanks, Dee!
Love Dee, I have longish curly hair. It was in poor shape and Dee performed a deva cut, which is a special cut for curly haired women. I thought she would have to cut at least 5 inches off my hair to make it healthy again but she shaped it and only took off about an inch. My hair looks so much fuller and healthier now!! I could not run my comb through my hair before she cut my hair, it is so healthy now I can!! Ask about deva curl and a deva cut.
