The Best Nails in Hartford, CT

I'm a very picky person when it comes to my nails and I'm happy I took a chance on Best Nails. They were good. They were attentive to my asks and tried their best to accommodate what I wanted. I called for a same day appt and they took me in. I got a full set done. Prices are reasonable. Note they charge extra if you want coffin or almond shape ($5). They also prefer tips in cash.

While I really love my nail salon, I wanted to try a different one. I was a bit scared, because the Yelp rating is two stars, yikes! I figured it can't be that bad, because the most recent review was written three years ago. I called them, and made an appointment for 1:00 o'clock on the same day for my friend and I.
First, they're located on an awful intersection, if you miss them by a tiny bit you have to drive a bit down the road to make a U-turn. The parking is ample once you get there.
This is a small nail salon, there are four pedicure chairs and four manicure chairs. They also do eyelash extensions and eyebrows here.
It is very clean inside. The three nail technicians all wore masks and gloves while working. There are acrylic walls separating the customers.
I came in for a pedicure, my friend did too.
It is important to note, the tools they used came from a one time use bag.
I was very happy the way the technician took her time to work on my feet. She buffed and scrubbed, trimmed my nails, and made sure I was comfortable with the water temperature. The massage chair also provided a very nice massage on my back and shoulders.
I selected a bright orange color for my gel pedicure. The technician first showed me, a sample of it and asked me how I like it, before proceeding to paint all of my nails with it.
One thing that annoyed both my friend and I, is the amount of times they asked us if we'd like manicures. There were three nail technicians and a man who might be the owner, I'm not sure, they each asked, each of us about four times if we would like manicures. I told them every time, "thank you, but not today."
My friend got a manicure, she said its because they "wouldn't stop asking".
She got a very nice summery jade color. They have a huge wall of colors to choose from. You can pay with credit card or cash, but tip is accepted in cash only.
Their private conversations were kept to a minimum.
It was only $40 for my gel pedicure. I think it's an excellent price. I would for sure come here again.

Don't go there. After being mad about the horrible job then did I got over it to only ended up with the worst infection in 3 of my fingers. Told owner and she didn't even car. Told me to take nails off but she doesn't do refunds

I saw Yu who did my eyelash extensions. I have read previous poor reviews and have to disagree. The ladies were very friendly attentive and did excellent work. My eyelashes are beautiful and look very natural with no clumping I apologize for the poor quality picture. I highly recommend going to this salon.

I can't say enough how much I adore this place! I always hated going to nail salons because a lot of the times the service isn't great or it's uncomfortable. This has always been my favorite place to go to because they always make me feel comfortable and are super sweet, they are gentle with me too. I have arthritis so a lot of places tend to be too rough on me when I get a pedicure but they are always attentive to me and careful when handling me hands or feet. Super sweet people there!! They also keep everything very very clean!! For the prices that you pay here, these hardworking women deserve so much more!
