Went to go a little lighter, a honey brown. Ended up with an awful choppy blonde. Nice customer service however, definitely did not know how to dye hair and also charged me 200$. Please don't go here and waste your money as well as ruin your hair.
I received a wonderful cut and dimensional full foil color that was done by Master Colorist Jodiee Lawson. He is amazing. I am visiting Meridian and called this salon. After speaking with Jodiee about his recent return to Meridian from Texas and his color expertise, I scheduled an appointment. I have lost count of the compliments I have received. I love both my cut and color. I just learned Jodiee is now at Kut-N-Up in Meridian. This review is for him.
Although Veranda advertises body waxing services, RUN, not walk, AWAY.
I have had body waxing done every month for almost the last 4 years elsewhere and being new to the area, looked up those services in Meridian. 2 places perform body waxing, Veranda being one of them. Veranda was much more conveniently located for me, so I made an appointment weeks in advance.
The day of my appointment, the aesthetician rescheduled twice, due to lack of supplies (she ended up driving to Hattiesburg and back to pick up what she needed). The appointment took 3 times as long as usual, 1.5 hrs, which just underlined her inexperience. However I gave her the benefit of the doubt and made an appointment for the next month. The next month arrives and she's moved out of state. I meet another new person. This particular appointment ended up being THE MOST PAINFUL WAXING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. She used cold wax, which I now believe is a no-no in the nether region. I only agreed to come back if she promised to use hot wax. My third appointment went great, then she moved too. That was it, when the owner called to confirm my appointment and informed me I would get naked in front of yet another new person, I said FORGET THAT AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT AT PAMPERED BODIES (just save yourself the headache and go there for body waxing services).
I'll give Veranda 2 stars, 1 because I did not use the salon services and they may be wonderful, and 2 because the owner contacted me twice trying to rectify the situation.
