T's Hair & Nail Salon in Waipahu, HI

I recently went to royal nails in kapolei, and got a full set of pink ombré with a few gemstones. First off it was not well made and my nails were so sore because it was lifting. I headed into T's salon because usually I see Julie for pedicures because she is the best to clean your nails and make them feel so good! Today I didn't expect to find a jewel working at the front desk. Her name is London, and what she did came out so amazing as you can see inthis picture! Just her fixing someone else's mistake at first with just the powder was so beautiful. The colors came out great as well! She explained details that I could understand because
Mind you, I don't really get manicures more so I only get pedicures. This set is so beautiful that I had to share! If you're ever thinking about getting a new set
Or need someone to fix it don't hesitate to go and see her. LONDON, if you see this girl I appreciate you! You truly do QUALITY WORK and you take your time. This was a refill and it cost about $65 dollars.

Horrible  been going 20 plus years off and on. I finally went back to do my nails and I usually pay and tip before it starts. The lady doing my nails started counting the $5 tip I gave her. I told her it's $5 lol and guess what I got a $5 service. She did skip a few steps I noticed. I'm never ever going back! So sad  good luck in finding a good salon they just judge you immediately and service you accordingly. One day it will come back to you 10 folds.

I am creating this review on behalf of my mother-in-law's experience with this salon.

TECHNICIAN NAME: Rose

My mother-in-law visited this salon looking to get her nails done, eyebrows waxed, and get eyelash extensions.

Upon starting, the technician (Rose) offered for eyeliner tattoo to be done as well, but my mother in law asked if it would be okay to get it done even though she was getting eyelash extensions and Rose said "up to you". Honestly, as the technician shouldn't she have advised her the right option, which is not to get them both done at the same time due to potential infections... but I don't know I guess they aren't educated enough. As a professional who does this for a living, working really close to people's eye, performing tattoos, shouldn't they have known better and advise their clients the best and safest procedures. Clearly Rose has little to no knowledge about the safety and sanitary procedures involving tattoos. We know that eyelash extensions can house many bacteria, especially if it isn't clean or taken care of properly, then you do a tattoo eyeliner, you're just asking for an eye infection! So, with little knowledge of the possible risks of infections, my mother-in-law got both done. After getting both eyelash extensions and eyeliner tattoo done, they also gave little to no aftercare instructions for the eyeliner tattoo other than artificial tears and cold compress... you would think more instructions would be given since she just had a tattoo, on her eyelids! They'll definitely will be hearing from us if an infection develops due to poor after care instructions.

Another thing is about the experience my mother-in-law had while getting the eyeliner tattoos was that she was in pain and crying during the procedure. She tried to tell her technician (Rose) but all she said was that numbing cream was added. That's it... nothing else...

The eyelashes were poorly placed that a part of it is already coming off and it has only been a couple hours.

My mother-in-law's eyebrow waxing was done in a not so delicate way, she has burn marks or some reaction from the wax under brows, it left a mark.

The only thing done well was her nails.

I felt that they took advantage of the opportunity for making more money vs. thinking about what is right for their clients.

My mother-in-law "regrets" going here and this will be a learning mistake for my mother-in-law and I.

Employees assumed I cannot understand their conversation in their language and proceeded to talk bad about their clients with each other.
They work fast and skip crucial steps in ensuring quality and hygienic service.
Workers are not friendly at all.

These are a crucial key points to consider in selecting your employees.
Please do your job properly and provide customers what they pay for.

I like going T's but sometimes they just don't understand the customer. English is my 2nd language too so I am saying my English is better than the employee. I called to make appointment for hair extension and the person who answer the phone said she could do it. Then when I went there they said they don't have anyone who could do my hair extension. This is not the first time this happened. I tried to make an appointment for my nail and she said I didn't need an appointment. Then when I got there they couldn't take me in.
Plus I did my eyelashes extension and the glue they used was not good.. My eyes were burning and it was so stiff. Omg better if I use my false eyelashes. I give them 3 star because place is nice and they give you good pedicure.  But they so busy talking to each other with their own language. It makes you little uncomfortable..
I guess I go there because it's close to where I live..
