I was looking for a new salon that does cool designs and found this place on Facebook. The owner did a full dip tip set for me with designs on each nail and did a wonderful job! I have been obsessed with my nails for weeks and can't wait to go back. Not a bad price at all for designs on all nails.
I went to a nail salon at this address for many years starting with my arrival in the area around 2001. I was a customer for many years and was very happy with their very nice staff and their work.
Several years passed and things happened that put manicures on the back burner. I decided yesterday that I needed to have my nails done for an upcoming event this weekend. I showed up at the shop's location and waited for an opening, as I had before.
The shop had changed its name and apparently is under new management now. There were more workers, and the scene was rather crowded. Everyone, technicians and customers alike, sat at a large, oval table, rather than face-to-face (customer and technician) at individual desks. There was a jumble of bottles of nail polish on a shelf that I could sort through if I wished
I asked if I could have a full set done. They asked if I had a reservation. When I said that I hadn't been aware that one was required, I was told that I could wait for an opening. That was fair enough: I said I would wait. I waited for nearly an hour and a half before I received a call advising me of a family issue. As I rose, the manager said that he would handle my manicure. And then nothing happened for five minutes. No open seats, nothing. I left to deal with the family issue.
This establishment is in no way comparable to the salon that preceded it. If it had been stated on their website that reservations were required, I would have followed that procedure and not spent my time waiting for an opening.
I will be exploring other salons.
