I came here a long time ago, probably 8 months back so I can get a haircut. I saw the sign and because I moved to Sac for school at the time I wanted to get a cheap but good haircut, I didn't mind having to pay a little extra since I did want a fade and lineup. When I came in there were people ahead of me, no biggie. Once I started getting my hair cut the asian woman was somewhat rough with me. I powered through since I could tell some vibes were off and when she was done with the fade I asked her to do a line up. She then proceeded to say "What do you need a lineup for if your hair is covering it regardless?" She said it in a rude tone and again I didn't mind paying a little more for that service. Once she was done I could tell she was trying to be playful? I'm presuming and she slapped my back with both her hands. I'm glad a lot of people have good experience there but honestly if you're expecting a lineup, go someplace else. Never went back.
We were asked to wait outside with our service dog which isn't the correct way to handle that by law. Instead of correcting them we just left.
I've been going here for about 6 months now. It's my neighborhood barber. You really wouldn't know there is a babe we shop here. I'm glad she puts out daily signs advertising for haircuts ($12.99). The winer is very friendly. Sometimes she presses a little to hard for me when fine trimming, but she does a great job for the price. The shop is clean and service is fast. Local business.
