Tl;dr: I wanted to donate 8 inches of hair, but the stylist cut off 12 inches. I made an appointment for a wash and cut. When my name was called, the stylist I was assigned just walked me back to wash my hair before even asking me what I wanted to do with my hair. I wanted to donate my hair, so I had to ask if we should cut the hair before washing. She then proceeded to confirm if I was taking the hair home (because they don't donate it themselves - totally fair), if I had anything to secure the hair (you don't have any ponytail holders?!?), and to inquire to another stylist if they had a ruler. Needless to say, I was nervous. She then proceeded to use the singular braid I had my hair in as a measure of where to cut it! I asked where the hair would come down to on my arm, motioning to it, and she confirmed that location. She then cut off the single braid. Now, I have donated my hair at least five times in my life, and this was by far the worst experience I have had with cutting it. At the end of the day, I asked for 8 inches to be cut (which I know actually means 9 because of the extra room above the ponytail holder), but the stylist took off 12 inches. I have had some great experiences with this location before, but this stylist seemed bored and wishing she wasn't at work, even annoyed when I asked questions. I'm pretty frustrated overall.

I went here about two months ago. Wasn't too sure what I wanted but gave her an idea about what I would like. She did a perfect job!! I have never been so happy with a hair cut before
I went to Supercuts Middletown to make an appointment. Friday 7/17/20. There was only one person getting a haircut yet 2 other girls just talking about there personal life's while I stood waiting . I wasn't till I gave them a dirty look that they responded. I asked ,during covid got my haircut somewhere else and could they replicate it. She said yes we all been here 9 + years. I said I've been coming here for 5 and never saw any of you. Made the the appointment anyway. On the way home it accured to me I loved my haircut why go to someone so unprofessional that I don't trust. When I got home I called back to cancel appointment not surprised the person who answered just said thanks for calling. She never asked why or can I reschedule. Good businesses ladies. Some retraining definitely required ! After 5 years I'm done with Supercuts. Michaelangelo
I cannot believe they cannot quote a price for a shampoo and blowout over the phone, she said it was according to the length and thickness, I told her my hair is short, she said I cannot tell you over the phone, poor business practice.
