Tyler is amazing! My boyfriend and his mom have gone to him for yeeeears so I figured I should check him out to see if he could make my hair goals come true. I'm a dark brunette wanting to go blonde basically and he has worked magic on my hair and always spends the necessary time to get it right and always comes up with more suggestions that we can try to get me to where I want to be. He's always amazing to converse with and makes the appointment feel more like a gab session with a friend than just a hair appointment. He's always so welcoming as soon as I walk in, even if I'm just there for my boyfriends appointment. Tyler always gives my boyfriend a beautiful beard trim, taming the craziness that tends to happen between cuts. He keeps him looking real handsome. We will continue to come here for as long as they're open. I couldn't recommend this salon enough!

Had a Brazilian sugaring done by Brie and she was amazing! So fast, efficient and as painless as it could be. The cost was totally reasonable, too! Definitely found my new waxer! Bonus: Close to other stores too so it's easy to multitask a trip

I have been to many different salons however when I found the crew at Salon Chirella 13 years ago I would never go anywhere else! I have had super short hair, super long hair, many different colors in my hair. Im sure Im a hairstylist nightmare..LOL, however the staff at the salon (primarily Amanda & Tyler for hair & Niki for brows) always accommodating & make my vision a reality! When you come into the salon everyone is always so friendly & very community oriented! One time I saw they did a drive to gather winter supplies for the homeless & another time raised money for foster kids...oh and I asked about the fun products they have for sale in the salon (like soaps & jewelry) Its all from local artisans! As I said earlier they always make my experience in the salon wonderful & when I get home, my hair makes looking in the mirror a happy one, but most of all over the time Ive gone there they always have treated me like family! They are an asset to the community!

Overall I give this place a 1star. To begin the salon is oddly positioned from the road. One can tell quickly it was something of something else. Once you find it you quickly realize there is handicapped parking but no handicapped access. There is no elevator. I asked about this and was told the building is exempt. The salon is located on the second floor. The stairs are steep. They are carpeted an old 1980s blue color so be careful because it's puckery. Having a disability I found this challenging. I thought with such high reviews it was worth the struggle. Its 2018 people WTF! Anyways once reaching the salon it is quite dated. It has a comfortable feel though I will give it that strangely. The staff are all related. I thought Tyler was quite nice. I had a cut and color. He seemed confident. He cut my hair into an inverted bob. He swore this would lay under. I told him my hair is very fine and getting curlier and it doesn't take layers well. Okay, so fast forward 2 weeks and my hair is looking like an Xmas tree with divisions in layers all around. Hmmmm. So I called his mother answered the phone. I politically correct stated could I stop by and have Tyler look at my hair I am not having a fun time trying to style this. The mother proceeded to get very defensive and tell me nobody complains about Tyler's work. She then tells me Tyler squeezed me in when he didn't have to. She stalled around and basically said he was very busy in the future and was booked full. I am sick and tired of peoples egos. This behavior is unprofessional. The staff should have been more than welcome to bring me back in. Mom would not allow this and Tyler never returned my calls. BEWARE!

Tyler is my guy! Nothing against the rest of the charming Chirella crew, they're great too. I started going here when I lived 20 minutes away - I now live 50 minutes away but still consider the trek well worth it. The only reason I might not give this place the 5-stars it deserves is because then ya'll might try to fill up my guys already busy schedule! But for real, five star establishment and folks!
