Structure Beauty Salon in Boston, MA

I don't usually give 5 stars but Wendy deserves it. I came to Structure and Wendy upon the advice of my SIL who had been seeing her since high school (a couple decades). I broke up with my old salon after a chemical burn ( see my review for Dellaria in Braintree). The salon would be considered a whole in the wall but the customer service made it worth it. Wendy asked about my hair, my care for it and listened to what I needed. She advised that I stop wearing a ponytail because of thinning at the top of my head. She advised on types of cuts and colors for my hair type and current condition. When she was done, there were women vowing to go short the next time they came in because of the bob she'd cut my hair into. She advised products but wasn't pushy. This was one the best cuts I've ever gotten and most certainly the most wallet friendly. If you are of mixed ethnicity and have the hair to match, this salon is for you. It's you're looking for amenities, you might want to visit another salon. There a no frills, just a group of Caribbean American women doing their beauty thing well!

Came here to get highlights in my hair for the first time in my life. Wendy did an amazing job and I was more than happy with how my hair turned out. I would've given it 5 stars however I felt the other stylists there didn't want to be there. One client came in and was upset her stylist was working on someone else's hair as her hair was drying which caused a little more than tension in the room. Overall, I came there to get my hair done and it was done to my satisfaction.

I was looking for a nail salon that was inexpensive, had walk in service and spoke English. This place was just that. $20 bucks later my feet are soft and pretty! Def recommend!

Structure Beauty Salon is Boston's hidden gem!! I love getting my hair done there! Everyone is really nice and welcoming and they really know what they're doing. The salon is very family oriented and they make you feel really comfortable. I always feel like im at home at Structures. Once you walk through their doors you're family. They're loud, they're funny and they love what they do. It's a really enjoyable experience and I always leave there satisfied not to mention their prices are awesome! In regards to the previous comments about Structure Beauty Salon it's really sad that one person visits the salon a couple times and they think they know it all. The owner Mindy is a mother of 4 she has her cell pone by her in case of emergencies and if one of her children calls she answers.. wouldn't you? Also I've been going to Mindy for a long time and I've been there on her busiest days when she works for hours straight and doesn't even get a chance to sit down. So all those "careless" times where she gets up to go to the back room are called breaks.Give the woman a break! She's an amazing hair stylest and she's devoted to her clients.

I started going to this salon about two years ago after my previous hair stylist chopped my hair. Mindi (owner) was very nice and very attentive to what you wanted. She really sounded like she knew what she was talking about and takes her time to syle your hair the way you want it. After a while it started to get a little careless. She would be doing my hair and would stop to attend to her boyfriend that comes in and would go into the back for at least 10 min. Other times she would leave me unattended when her cell phone rings. She still does a great job with my hair but the treatment is not worth it. Or is it?
