Spa Pointe in Glastonbury, CT

It's disappointing that I was treated so horribly by this establishment. I received a gift card for this establishment. I called and made an appointment, they seemed friendly. I was hopeful this was going to be a wonderful experience. It wasn't!
She rushed through my nails. She charged me $70 for my refill and stated my nails are long. However I keep my nails at a modest length because I'm in healthcare and wear gloves daily. B tax perhaps. She didn't completely remove my existing gel polish. She didn't file my nails evenly, there are divots  in my nails which I noticed when I arrived home. A piece of my nail less than 24 hours has broken off. She used the rag to clean her apron off, then wiped the table top and then used it to wipe the brush. Then back to my hands. Unsanitary method! Not to mention another tech was heavily coughing and not wearing a mask.
When she was through, I paid my invoice. And I gave her a tip, even though she was so horrible. Hoping she would see the error in her ways. She just snatched the money out of my hand and walked away without saying thank you.
This establishment should not treat Black women the way this nail tech treat me.
We have are of one people. No one is better than the other. I know she wouldn't have liked how she treated me if it was her relative, if it was her daughter, her sister, her niece.

Best gel manicure! The manicurist I see gets color right down to the cuticles. Lasts 3 weeks with no peeling. Well priced & very clean.

I love this place! I get hard gel manicures and regular pedicures here regularly. I usually go with Kim, she's fantastic. But she was off the last time I went and I had Sunny do my hard gel fill - and she was also really good! The spa is really relaxing and nice, clean and organized. Highly recommend!

The very first time I went here they did an excellent job, but the past two times have been terrible. I had dip powder done and my nails cracked within the first week of having them which I have never had happen before that fast with dip powder... the next time I went I got a regular gel manicure which came out terrible. They weren't even completely painted and the gel wasn't even completely dry when she told me I was done. It's almost like she was just rushing through my appointment to just get my nails done. After these past two experiences not sure if I'll be back....

They are overpriced. They don't itemized what services you're getting which is very interesting, maybe they do this for tax purposes so no one knows what prices are. The lady in there laughed when she saw my nails were short for a real reason I'm always working with my hands. I still gave her a nice tip though. Save your money, go elsewhere. These people are praying in rich Glastonbury moms spending their husband's money.  A lady in there was gaming a zoom meeting on her phone talking so loudly and then shouting across the room to her other friend. It was ridiculous. No one said anything and it was just not at all a 'spa' experience.
