SP Nails Spa in Troy, MI

I arrived on Sunday, Oct 8, 2023 at 3:30pm, when I arrived I saw their hours posted on the door which said "Sunday 11am-4pm" I asked if it's too late to get a full set and pedicure. They said no and I was able to get serviced asap as I was the only customer there. The pedi was rushed The full set overlay was rushed, it was done while I was sitting in the pedicure chair. I let them know that I wanted to get regular polish for both and asked if that was OK, I was told yes. I would have been willing to do shellac upon their request (It wouldn't have been an unreasonable request given the time of day) but I did ask. Fast forward, I didn't feel like I got the full mani/pedi experience. The polish on my nail chipped while under the fan. When I asked if it could be fixed, the pregnant person was visible upset. She polished over it. And sent me back under the fan. I don't plan to return ever again. The service should have been discounted by 25% given how rushed and her attitude.

The first thing you notice when walking in is the very strong, chemical smell, more than usual. And the floors are just absolutely filthy. Adequate pedicure. Won't be back.

Be aware. The place is dirty and dusty. The service is horrible . They don't even put lotion on your hands when they are done. They charge extra without telling you up front so you can make an educated decision. I saw SAPA and her attention is on the phone and with everyone who comes in the door making you wait forever. It also smells like poison in there. I will never go back. Yucks.

One of the worst salons I have been to in troy area. Save your money! I had seen Sapas work on instagram and booked an appointment with her. Walked in and another women started doing my nails. During my appointment I see that sapa had another client booked. The women that did my nails did not listen to the shape i wanted and just did it the way she liked. I kept asking her how much the price would be for my inspiration picture and she wouldn't answer and just kept saying she would only know at the end. She made my nails longer than I asked so she could charge more. The work was not worth the price. The cuticles were not clean and very rough and nails started lifting after a week. The oval shape was not even and crooked as well as all the nails were different sizes. These pictures were taken in the car the second I walked out of there.

I think this location did a good job, but i had gotten slightly nicked by the thumb and the water for my pedicure wasnt very hot. Overall i really loved the nail design and would return as well as recommend this location the staff are all very accommodating!
