SmartStyle Hair Salon (17929) in Bradenton, FL

I got a great hair cut there in Jan 2023. i was visiting again in April so I went there again for a cut and color. The haircut was just average at best. However, she did such a bad job with the hair coloring. She pretended to be careful about not getting hair dye on my clothes but that is exactly what she did. I'm sure she new it, it was all over the back of my collar but she didnt say a word. I discovered it when I got back home. I went back 3 times to show them my ruined shirt but of course "the manager isn't here" and "it's Sam's day off. I called twice and finally talked to the manager who told me she will call district manager and get back to me. Of course that was a lie too. They refused to do anything about replacing my shirt or giving my any kind of compensation. If you still want to take a chance and go over there, were an old shirt.

My son and I both got our haircuts here faithfully every few weeks. My most recent was awful. First they cut my hair wrong. How can you cut a man's hair wrong? That's the easiest to do. Whatever would have been fine but then I get home and see the salon overcharged me by $20. I called the salon to see what happened and the woman said I gave a $20 tip. I did not give that tip so the stylist obviously chose to take the tip they thought they deserved. (Mind you the haircut was $12) the salon then refused to fix it. I called their corporate. The district manager Debbie then called me and was extremely rude. She laughed saying it wasn't their mistake. At the end of the conversation, she said fine they would fix it in 3 days but not until then and then hung up the phone. Worst customer service I have ever received. Safe to say my son and I will never be returning.

You're not getting a Regis stylist anymore,they're from First Choice. The one I had today really lacked imagination, she knows how to wax eyebrows though. She actually told me that "hairdressers don't know how to use razors anymore" I wanted a feathered style, I got a generic hairstyle. I could have gotten the same thing from the barber up the street for $8. I figure if a stylist doesn't know how to use the tools of her trade then maybe she should aspire to a different career. I won't be going back again.

I originally went here because it was convenient. Unfortunately I found it to be a waste of time. Three appointments in a row made with Cindy...Three times in a row she takes an unscheduled person before me at my appointment time. When she said she was running "a little late" she actually told another unscheduled person to come in when she was done with the first unscheduled person she put ahead of me. After waiting 50 minutes passed my appointment, I spoke to a manager. Then I heard Cindy telling the manager to make someone else take me. After the review I was contacted by the company, said someone would be reaching out to me and then nothing. I think it's just an automatic email response when they get a bad review.
