I am very disappointed . This business used to be convenient and easily accessed. Shopping and a cut could be accomplished in one trip.. Now I am lucky to catch it open. Twice there were notes saying the stylist would return in 45 minutes. Today there was one employee who was starting a color job so there would be a two hour wait. She suggested I call ahead for an appointment. That would certainly take the convenience factor away. In the past there were usually 3 employees available. Why are they unable to hire/ retain stylists?
I've been here a few times, and my husband usually gets his hair cut here. They tend.to.do an ok job on my husband's hair although he's not picky. However today, I had the pleasure of getting my hair butchered. I walked in with my daughter to have my hair cut and styled. The lady who did my daughters trim was sweet and did a good job. The woman who did my hair looked as though she hated life. I showed her a picture on my phone and told her if she wanted to keep the picture up for reference she could. This is when she responded not all to friendly with, you can but I don't need it. Well ok I thought. She made a rude remark about me using box coloring to do my hair which I politely ignored. As she's cutting my hair in front she grabs it and just lobs it off. I made the statement that it wasn't what I wanted and she just blurted out some comment about the picture, which she wasn't using and went on cutting. I couldn't find the picture to show her again to show her she was cutting it wrong. And frankly she didn't seem to care that I wasn't happy at all. My hair is suppose to be like a Bob and I have a pixie cut. Not happy at all she didn't offer to fix it or anything to make my clearly unsatisfactory experience any better. Not sure if I always get the people who are having a bad day or what bit I won't be returning... ever. .again. Also, I am not one who freaks out ovet short hair, it grows back and I cut my hair short often. This experience was just horrible.
They gave me a decent haircut. It certainly wasn't the cleanest barber shop I have ever been in, but I wasn't expecting much, given that it is inside a Wal-Mart. $15.50 plus tip for a basic men's haircut.
