SILK Threading & Wax Salon in Snellville, GA

I have visited this salon three times, and each time I have to admit, that I had a wonderful experience. Although I don't live in the area, I visit my children here often and each time that I come the first thing on my agenda is to visit Tina and enjoy the experience of this spa. They are friendly professional, and delightful. I recommend them highly. I've come to value threading over waxing and henna over traditional dyes.They do an excellent job and I've even gotten a henna tattoo. The kids loved it.

I have been going here for about 4-5 months and getting my eyebrows threaded & tinted and my roots done. They offer hair dye for your roots for $35, and you go home with a shower cap on your head and rinse it out at home. I have had this service at least 4 times and always tip well. This time I was charged $40. I asked why and was told it was due to the length of my hair. Now they don't comb or brush or detangle my hair and I only get my roots dyed, so what does the length have to do with it?? The woman stood firm, but the other lady apologized repeatedly. I don't appreciate being husseled or nickle and dimed. I utilized this service because it was convenient. But I will not do business with anyone that is dishonest, rude, and tries to overcharge me and thinks I won't notice. If the price increased that would have been fine, but she made up something that didn't even make sense and behaved like a stubborn old bat. She also did my eyebrows and didn't even thread in between them. She didn't line up the tint on the inside of my brows and her attitude was horrible. I am taking my business elsewhere and so are my 5 daughters that were faithful customers as well. This is just the final straw after they have repeatedly messed up all of our eyebrows. Good riddance!!! I'm taking my money to a grateful business where I don't have to be worried about extra fees being tacked on from an employee just trying to make an extra $5. Sad thing is I always tip at least $15 when I get my eyebrows and hair dyed. She missed out on that trying to be greedy over $5 that she wasn't supposed to charge me in the first place.

I've been coming here for at least 6 years. I just go in and tell them I'd like my eyebrows cleaned up, but to maintain their thickness. My eyebrows come out defined and not thin. They're always pretty quick with a few minutes to no wait at a great price. I highly recommend.

I just left this place 5 minutes ago and I feel like crying. They totally chopped my eyebrows. It looks horrible. I mean who taught that lady how to thread. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's terrible. Never coming back!!!

DO NOT get waxed here! I don't know if the lady I got yesterday knew what she was doing, but she messed up the skin under my armpits BADLY! I think she was being rushed because she had a lot of people waiting but still no excuses. My underarms are RED and now I have to walk around a holiday weekend with red/raw armpits that sting and hurt. Definitely not going back for waxing...but they are good at threading eyebrows.
