Silhouettes Salon in Ware, MA

I see Betsy, but everyone here is super nice! I have thick hair and Betsy is great at cutting, lightning and finishing my hair. Hard to believe she wouldn't be great with anyone's hair. Recently I went in asking for a heavy highlight with a blended root so that it would grow out well. she lightened and toned my hair, taking it from an orange/ copper blonde with 4 inch grown out roots to a beautiful multi Toned blonde

About 4 years ago I brought my Mother to get a perm, I wanted her to have the best Hairdresser so I had the owner do her hair. Important sales persons came into the salon to sale products , so she was running back and forth between my Mom and them , as she removed my Mothers perm rollers her hair broke off . I made the mistake of bringing Mom there, I put my full trust in this woman . Mom wanted her money refunded and she wouldn't give it back , I paid in advance as a present to her. Never will we go there again.

I went to this salon to get a perm, since i just had a child and not much time to do my hair. I went in saturday for 3 hours while they did the perm no biggie as I have had perms before and it usually takes this long. Three hours after leaving my hair goes flat. I have never had that happened. When I went back to show them, they said they have not seen that either but wait the 2 days. So I did, my hair after washing was curly but as it dried it went flat and was just frizzy. I went back to the salon and let them know I am not happy about the job they did. They said yeah I never seen that happen before, but all they can do is schedule another perm for me and when do I want to do that. So perms dry out your hair and the last thing to do is give another perm right away, but if they were a real salon they would know this. If you couldn't do the job right the first time then why do I think you can do it again. I also dont have time to sit around again for 3 hours for them to do another bad job.I had asked for my money back and they said they DON'T do that that is not their policy. I CANT believe that, that is not an acceptable answer. Its not that they cant, they just don't want to. I am in customer service and when people are upset you do whatever you can to help them and get them to stay with your service as there are so many out there they can choose from. But like her attitude that she portrayed she could care less. I'm sure she would not be happy if she went somewhere and received bad service and I am sure they have and said something and received something for free. So to whoever decides to try this salon, I say DO NOT..I do believe in karma and what goes around comes around.
