Signature Nails & Spa in Lodi, CA

13th birthday disappointment . This has been my got to nail shop for the last 5 years. However, they have gone down hill. Ultimately it's the sneaky upcharges they try to either push or just add on somehow. Back story: my daughter and I went in to get our nail and toes done for her birthday. I clearly stated that I wanted gel and she wanted regular. There were plenty of words exchanged between them... and I knew they were going to attempt to make up the difference somewhere before we were done. We finished our toes and moved over to nails, but had to sit apart. She asked for a certain length, but the nail tech cut them to short... She said she told him, but he told her because he already cut them, it was to late ‍... I finished before my daughter, so I went to check on her. The UV light was on her nails. ‍ I told them that she wanted regular polish... he told me it was to late. I told him I wasn't paying for gel. At the register, it was added anyhow. I told them I wasn't paying the additional $30 they added to the bill. They left us standing at the register for 10 minutes while they talked crap. I finally told them I was either paying or leaving without paying but I refused to pay that crap $30 extra charge.

Van tan was my nail tech at this particular location this particular day. I wanted to check out the experience at the Lola location as I'm used to going to the Stockton location. Even with just going here the first time Lodi I can say that I had a much better first experience here than I've had the last two experiences at the location in Stockton. the set up is somewhat similar as I want Stockton but possibly a little bit smaller. But I also enjoyed the shopping center that it is located in in Lodi. My nail tech was very friendly and funny and had a good attitude during my whole visit. Which is something that's very important to me and Weather. If I return as a customer, and after this visit, I could see myself returning here again requesting him specifically just because I like the way, he presented his service with my visit. The location is clean. They get a lot of clientele. They also have wine bottles displayed across their wall which I think they also offer if there's some type of bridal party or birthday party that could be included in a package possibly. but overall for what I chose in my package was a pedicure manicure shellac both feet and hands $90. The pedicure and manicure spa service by itself as a package was 50 I would recommend this business if you see yourself ever in the area and needing a pretty decent nail salon to visit.

I got the service I requested but where was the spa ambience at? They were talking the whole time I was getting a pedicure. It's not as clean as I expected it would be since Signature Nail Spa is a well known name nationwide. The lack of hospitality is unbelievable. The menus are old and you can't even read it. I asked her for another one because of course I came to relax and wanted the one with the most benefits. But she didn't understand that. I was irritated the whole time bc they wouldn't stop talking. I came here to relax. Not listen o people talk for a whole hour. Now I'm going to go get a massage to get the stress out of my body from coming to this nail salon. I would never recommend anyone to come here thinking it's a spa. It's really not anything better than a neighborhood corner nail salon.

Ly is the person to go to if you can request an appointment. I've been to a couple people there and have had issues with cuts/infection and just poor service. Ly is always thorough and professional, clean, friendly. Look twice what tools they're using and if they have been properly sterilized.

I just had the worst pedicure of my life. It felt like someone set a timer to see how fast he could finish. He rubbed my legs for maybe 30 seconds and that is being generous. He never rubbed my feet. After he painted my nails, he put my shoes on and handed me my purse. My actual nail polish was sloppy and maybe he should have let me sit and have them dry before scooting me out. I will NEVER return to this nail place! I'm seriously disappointed.
