Shaggy's Hair Salon in Mesa, AZ

Just had my hair done by the magician, Kim, can't begin to say how awesome it looks. Cut, color, condition. SHe is a genius with hair. So glad I found her!

I went in today to have Kim do a weave and cut. I was blown away by the level of service. She carefully listened to what I wanted and took her time explaining how she would proceed. My hair came out exactly the way I wanted I and I definitely return for all my services in the future. She nailed it!

Absolutely horrible. Terrible customer service and the owners care more about profits than customer satisfaction. It's always a mess inside and is constantly torn up remodeling. You couldn't pay me to go back.

****UPDATE 12/30/2015**** I went in to get my refund from Kimberlee and when she saw me she seemed very shocked, I told her I was in to get my refund and she told me that she hasn't decided if she's giving me one or not yet. Even though she previously had said that she was going to. I asked her why and she continued to call me a liar and tell me how I lied about what had happened to me. I was extremely shocked that this is how she was treating a client and honestly I was extremely mad and upset that she sat there and called me a liar when everything was the truth. She told me she would text me and let me know if she was giving me my money. I texted her the day she said she would text me and asked her about it and she said it's now policy that they don't give refunds and I won't be getting my money back. A service was performed poorly and not met so I am bummed and upset that I won't be getting my money back but even more upset and appalled at the way she has treated me throughout this entire situation. Business's like that don't stay open for very long and karma will get her. Unfortunate that this is how it ended. This review is for Kim. I went in to have a Brazilian blowout done, something I've done before and am used to. This was the first time she has done it on me however. I spent $180 including tip. After two or three days I washed my hair with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner like I always do anyways. Next thing I know my hair is just as curly as it was before the blowout. After a day or two I noticed my scalp was flaking horribly. I have never had dandruff and this was CHUNKS. It was disgusting! I dont know if she's just not that skilled in Brazilian blowouts or what but I was very upset that I spent all that money and nothing worked. I messaged her and when I am in town next she will be giving me my money back. Definitely will not be returning to her to get my hair done. I suggest letting someone else at this shop do your Brazilian blowout.

This is a very friendly salon. I asked for an appointment and Kim took me after hours to accommodate. The next time I called for a trim she took me sane day. Again, I won't be going anywhere else for cuts and these awesome brazillian blowouts. I can't recommend this salon enough!!
