Their stylists have issues! They send pictures of themselves in bathing suits, claiming their professional! It's pretty creepy!

I recently went to Serenity for the first (and only)time and was very rudely treated by a stylist. She did not seem to be interested in anything I told her as to how I would like my hair styled or any input. She took a lengthy phone call while she was working on me. And after I mentioned I was not really pleased with my hairdo, she told me she did not me as a client. I have been with my current stylist for many years and am only changing bc she is retiring. I was appalled at the treatment I received!

I actually go to this Salon, love Dennis, he does my hair, amazing stylist, always a great job. The people working there are nice, personable and always willing to help even if you are not their client. I love going there. I always walk out feeling great.

Do not go to Dennis!!! I had a train wreck color/haircut. Not to mention he ran an errand n was 20m late for my apt n triple booked. He also didn't remember me n only put me down for a cut not cut/highlight. his 1st words were we have to hurry...i should have known...worst experience of my lift! I left crying n cried the whole way home. I wish I could attach pics b/c it was that BAD. He patted me on the back n said there wasn't much hair on the floor n my prenatals would make it grow fast!!! WTH. I am going back to another stylist who offered to fix the train wreck b/c she saw it all happen n felt sorry for me. This is the conversation via text the next day n sums up what my cut was. ME: I'm texting b/c Im still too upset to talk. I HATE it n so does my husband/family. My 1-1.5inch trim turned into 5ish inches, uneven n choppy w/points on each side. I know u said there wasn't much hair on the floor but u cut me 3X then the 4th was the final lop of the "corners" which was all the length I had left. This was a treat for me. I saved up for this. I wanted to leave feeling pretty. Instead I've been crying n am depressed keeping whats left of my hair in a ponytail. I would have expected this from $15 Walmart cut but from a professional like urself I'm shocked. Seeing the looks from the other hair dressers/clients as u cut confirmed that my worst fear was happening. I have not been this short since 2008. My hair grows VERY slow. Prenatals gave me new baby hairs n did not affect my growth rate. This is the worst cut I have ever had as an adult n will take a good 4+yrs to grow back. The worst part was seeing the look on my husbands face last night and again this morning:( DENNIS: So sorry you don't like your haircut. I should have said no with the space allotted. Suggestion-make sure you tell the person taking the appt that you require 3 hours uninterrupted. You will pay $200 more but will be worth it. I am a good person with good skills. I must say we are not a good fit. I wont cash your check. If you want the ends shaped, I'll do it but that is all. ME Sorry. The one I made the apt w/was u n I said I wanted the same thing as last time. If u didn't recall who I was n what I needed I wish u would have asked me rather than assuming Not once did he take the blame but blamed me!!!! Follow up: Lisa is AWESOME!!!! I got a wonderful corrective cut n my polka-dot bleeding was fixed. I highly recommend her!

Caveat: This review is only about their customer service since I left the salon after being treated pretty rudely. I read the Yahoo reviews who all said everyone who works here is rude but my friend recommended a hair stylist who just transferred here so I thought I'd give it a shot. First, they have no web site and some stylists don't take credit cards. These are minor annoyances but still weird. I get there promptly for my 5:30 p.m. hair cut. I walk in and the lady behind the counter looks at me and walks aways. Ok, wtf? I'm said excuse me and told her who I was there to see. 20 minutes go past and no one comes out to tell me what's going on. Finally, I go up to the counter where 2 women are conversing about the accounts (so I assume they are the owners even though one is getting her roots done). I stand there and stand there before one deigns to ask me if I need anything. Sigh. I ask what the hold up is and she goes to find out. Turns out, my stylist JUST FINISHED his previous appointments hair dry. Which means an additional 20 minutes (at least) of him styling her hair. They ask if I want to wait. This is after waiting almost half an hour after working all day. No thanks. I understand people get behind schedule and things take longer than you think but at least have the common decency/common sense/business acumen to come out and explain the situation! I have already booked with another salon.
