Sandra's Hair Salon in Granville, OH

I had the same hair stylist for 14 years and when she moved over a year ago I have been searching for a new stylist. I have been to several people and didn't want to go back to any. I read reviews and thought I would give it a try. The atmosphere was clean and cozy, all the staff was really nice. I have a ton of hair and Sandra took her time wrapping it all so the color would blend nicely. I was her only customer while I was there, most places do 2 to 3 clients at a time. The price was very reasonable. I didn't feel rushed, over priced, or pressured to buy products. Made a follow up appt. Finally found a new place to go.

Hands down best salon in the area! From greeting to goodbye, everyone is professional and pleasant. Sandra does a great job walking me through my style ideas and coaching me to make my look my own!

Loved my haircut by Michael. He is easy to talk to, helped me figure out what I wanted (which is hard to do!), and made me look great. He also got me an appointment on short notice at a time that worked for me. He's very responsive to customer needs and really builds your confidence, which is half the battle when getting your hair done. :) Just a logistics FYI - when you call the number, you don't get a receptionist. You will get a list of phone numbers and names so you can book directly with the stylist. Have a pencil/paper ready! Very happy with my experience and I will definitely come back again.

Went for my first visit with Michael today at Sandra's Hair Salon and I'm so glad I did! He was personable, professional and tons of fun! He did my color and cut exactly like I wanted, I couldn't have gotten a better result without magic being involved, wait magic was involved, Michael! I would highly recommend Michael to anyone looking for a new stylist in the area or just looking to change your stylist after years of boredom or complacency. The salon was clean and everyone was friendly. The prices are very reasonable as well. I will definitely be a loyal client of Michael's for as long as he or I remain in the area. Do yourself a favor and go sit in his chair, you'll feel beautiful when you leave!

Finding a new stylist is like finding a life partner: it takes forever and you'll meet a lot of perfectly great people along the way but they may not be 'the one'. For me, the stylists at Sandra's (especially Sandra) are all long-term-relationship-worthy. They're sweet, know their stuff and want to please clients. Great cuts and color. Recently, a friend was in town and mentioned she hated her current haircut. I snapped a pic to confirm and we were definitely on a straight path to fixing it. I called Sandra's to see if we could get in but that was a resounding 'no'. (Great stylists + many clients + Saturday = not happening.) Sandra offered up a new stylist I hadn't heard of: Michael Ahmeti. Okay, sold. Michael is fabulous. He fixed my friend's botched cut with such ease that I booked an appointment for highlights on the spot. He is personal in that he wants you to be completely happy but will not let you try to achieve something you saw in a photo if it's impossible. (Example: he told my friend, "You have a beautiful neck but a short cut is not happening. No.") Back to my appointment: while my (flawless) highlights were processing, he checked on me regularly, explained next steps, etc. The color processed perfectly, no toning, correcting, etc. the cut was amazing and the blowout was selfie-worthy. I googled Michael after leaving the salon and Yelp reviews from his past salon were amazing. He's a certified gem. How he landed in Granville is a mystery/blessing. Final thoughts: I did post a selfie after my appointment and comments ranged from "love this!" to "this is so pretty I want to scream!"
