When we first moved to KY 4 years ago, one of the most important things to find in a new town besides good medical care and a liquor store is a hair stylist! After trying several of her competitors with mixed results, I found Maryanne, the owner of Salt Salon & Spa. It was almost as good as winning the lottery! She is attentive to your needs and must have a photographic memory because she can recall exactly how she cut my hair the last time. This eliminates a lot of experimentation and disappointment. One of the primary reasons I go to Salt Salon & Spa is I consistently get a great haircut. The other is the place is clean, comfortable and everyone is polite and friendly. Strongly recommend you give them a try.

Facial by Jessica was relaxing and rejuvenating, in a tranquil treatment room. Luxurious and calming! Just what I needed.
Went in to buy product only, I wish my stylist would move to this salon, so close to home, clean and great selection of Aveda hair and skin care items. The staff was very knowledgeable, not pushy at all! I will return to try a facial and a visit to the salt cave in the future! Thanks for bringing quality to Mount Washington!
Visited Salt for my birthday with my mom! We were excited to visit the local salon and get massages. The salon is beautiful and already filled with all kinds of exciting products.
We both had our massages by Carolyn, a mild surprise since we had scheduled with Leann but she had something come up. The massage was good. Massage was deep and she worked on my problems areas like I asked. A treat for my birthday can't go wrong with a massage.
They offer halotherapy as well. Always a great treatment they have a small relaxing room with lounge chairs and blankets. 50minutes and its $25 but right now if you bring someone else it's only $5 more. Can't beat that. My husband said it was the closest thing to being on the beach.
I would give 5 stars. But we had so much oil/lotion in our hair after our massages. I understand a little will happen. But this was excessive. Maybe alternate techniques to keep hair of the way can be adjusted.
Overall highly recommend checking them out and I look forward to returning to try Leann's massage.
