Salon Virtu in Sedona, AZ

Salon is incredible and has great products! The atmosphere is clean and bright and the team is friendly. Mark did a great job with my cut, price was reasonable and I have already received two compliments!

I'm giving this one star only because it started out nice. Wendy is a very nice woman with a long history of haircutting. Which I suppose gave her authority that trumped my request. I had a challenge with extreme hair loss. My hair is so thin these days. I'm trying to keep most my length which was down past my boobs. I asked Wendy to take off about 2 inches "maximum"just to neaten it up. But I wanted to keep the length. It's always such a violating and heartbreaking feeling when a hairdresser does what they want despite what you ask. My hair is now shoulderlength. She tried to express she only took off 2 inches! From where I started to where my hair is now, there's a solid 6 inches span. I have a before and after picture but I'm not going to post it. That's a substantial change. Wendy also decided that a blunt straight cut was what was needed to make it look thicker. Clearly my voice didn't matter. I'll get over this eventually but I'm certainly not gonna say nice things about what was done. Being respectful of someones clear request might be first and foremost! I'm pretty darn sad about it.

FINALLY! Thank you Wendy for my amazing haircuts! I found Salon Virtu during Covid-19. I am from Los Angeles, California and I have never had a better haircut. This is my second time seeing Wendy, and I am forever grateful that I finally found an amazing hairdresser that can actually cut my hair exactly how I like. Cant wait to visit again in 6 months!

This is a late review. I got my hair done by a dark long haired older lady there named mindy? Or I could be wrong about the name. It was my first time there since I moved back to Sedona. I wanted my hair shorter like shoulder length, and showed her a few pictures about the ideas. She started trimming and She kept on asking me how short and if the length is ok do I want shorter? I mean for a hair dress I expect her to be more knowledgeable about the trend the styles and maybe give some suggestions. She was able to do some layers on my hair, I have thick dark hair. We were talking while getting my hair done she knows I was checking on my young daughter then she said don't worry I will be quick. I wasn't happy about what she said. I DO NOT WANT MY HAIR DRESSER TO HURRY! my daughter was with grandma she's fine. So I told her it's fine don't need to hurry. I wish mark( I think that's the owners name) could teach or train their employees about their knowledge on the latest trends and keep everyone updated. Overall I wasn't happy about the cut I got from her and it wasn't worth $80(with tip). WOULD NOT GO BACK THERE AGAIN.

Jason is amazing and now so is my hair!!!! Salon Virtu has a very cool vibe that is really relaxing and artistic looking. I went to Jason because my hair was getting fried and turned almost one color blonde/almost white....yikes. Jason highlighted my hair and added honey colored low lights and corrected what my old stylist had done. After several years of having my hair abused he saved my looks and I'm not kidding. I have dimension to my hair it swings and has body. Jason is a charming guy boy did I get lucky. After living in Scottsdale and being used to some ...style...I can truly say Jason and SALON VIRTU really has it all together!
