I really don't ever write reviews but the people in my life that I love pushed me to write this review. I went here to have a color consultation and a curly cut. I'm going to keep it short. I felt like my experience could have been better. I had Ozell as a stylist and I will say it felt like she was just not really trying to hear what I wanted and it was a little unwelcoming. I really have been struggling finding someone who I trust with my curls and wanted to love this salon and find a stylist I would keep going back to. I will say maybe it was just a bad day or what I was expecting didn't align but I was visibly unhappy at the end and left in tears. Maybe I just had a one off experience but that was Just mine. I personally would not recommend.
I just got a shampoo, conditioner, blowout and trim and cannot recommend Shelby and Kapri enough. Such wonderful professionals who provided fantastic assistance with ny hair.

Listen .. I didn't think I could do a "wash and glo" but babyyy. So I would say I have very Coily and kinky hair and when Ozell brought out that denman brush for my wash and glo I said uh oh, this is not gonna end well . BUT baby let me tell you , I was very surprised with the outcome and loved it! Thank you so much Ozell, the most definition I've ever had with my natural hair. The staff was also all very nice at Salon Rose . I will definitely be back!
I loved my service! The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. The complimentary mimosas and good music. I got a blow out and the stylist took her time and made sure I was satisfied in the end. This is definitely the place to go for natural hair. I will be back for sure!
