Salon Paris is excellent. Kelly does my hair and she is by far the best stylist I've ever seen. As someone who has always had anxiety about getting my hair done, (and cried after several bad haircuts), I can't suggest her enough! She always listens to what I would like, and is consistently great every time. She's also super friendly and thoughtful. One time I was getting my hair colored and told her I was headed to Mohegan sun after we were done; she curled my hair for me and made it look great for my night out without my asking! If you want to get your hair done by knowledgable people who genuinely care that you look and feel great, this is the place!

Salon Paris is awesome. The interior is beautiful and the atmosphere is nice. Kelly has been doing my hair for two years and she knows what she is doing. Best colorist in the Greater Hartford area! I am asked literally once a week if my hair color is natural.   Paris takes the time to blend colors so that they look perfect with your skin color.

Salon Paris is the best salon in Connecticut! If you are looking for a new look then you have to give this place a try!

I have been going there for nearly 20 years and have not lived in the state in over 15 years. If I am planning a trip back to Connecticut I always make time to get my hair cut by Paris. I have only had my haircut by Paris but I have had friends use some of his other stylists and they have all been very pleased as well. Paris is very big on continuing training and staying up on the latest styles and trends, so any of the stylists there are sure to give you a great haircut or complete new style.

The first time I went in I told Paris that I wanted something new and different, but had no idea what would look good. I told him I kind of liked it long but kind of wanted to try something shorter, I kind of liked my hair permed but kind of wanted to go back to my straight hair. Most 'stylists' looked at me like I was crazy or would say something like 'well what do you want?' Paris on the other hand said ok, flipped through a few pages of a book and showed me a style that he thought would look good. It looked awesome on me! I got compliments from almost everyone I knew and even one from a boss that hardly ever said anything to me.

Another thing that I really like about Paris is he explained everything he was doing, especially when it came to styling my hair. Most stylists just blow dry and style your hair but don't bother to tell you what they are doing or why, which makes it difficult to do the same thing on your own when you are at home.

One of my pet peeves with 'stylists' is you go in and ask them what would look good on you and (from my experience) most of them can never suggest anything or they ask what you want. If I just wanted a haircut done exactly the way I want, regardless of how it looked on me, I would just go to one of the cheaper places and tell them exactly what I want. I go to a professional stylist because I expect them to be able to tell me what will or will not work with my hair type or face structure. Also, I have gone into a place and showed them a hairstyle that I liked and when I left the cut looked nothing like the picture I showed them. But not with Paris, the style he showed me was the style I ended up with. When I go in now, I just tell him that I want it to look good. He will usually ask if I am wanting to keep it longer or go shorter, then he just cuts it and it always looks great. He is a true stylist!
