Salon in Memphis, TN

About two years ago, I was having a down day. Can't remember why, but decided a hair cut would cheer me up. I stopped into Fantastic Sams on Erin Drive, which was the closest location to my house. I was fortunate enough to have Layne do my hair. Not only did she do a great job, her personality added to her goodness. She is very talented and friendly to make you feel at ease. She listens and asks you what you want. I appreciate that, as most stylist just want to do what they want to do! I now have my husband going to her and he loves her as well. We recently moved and it is a long drive, now that Layne has moved to the Midtown location, but well worth it. I give her a five star! When I would go to the Erin Drive location, everyone there was very friendly, however, now that I'm a patron of the midtown location, not the case. Especially the manager, I think her name is Lisa. She does hair some of the time but I'd never let her take a scissors to mine. She looks at you like, "What are you doing here?' She is not friendly at all and always looks like a sourpuss. Most of the others in the shop are good and friendly.

I have been going to the Salon for years now.  Tamara is who cuts my hair.  Sometimes I go in and know what I want.  Other times I am open to suggestion.  Tamara listens to me, pays attention, and has never steered me wrong.  Additionally, she calls me to remind me of my appointment because she knows I'm a space shot.  I'm always happy with my cut and with the customer service.  Kudos to Tamara and Jackie for maintaining a customer-focused business.

Having moved back to the Memphis area, I needed to find a new hairstylist. It was so intimidating and frustrating on having to find someone new to say the least. In fact, I had not gotten a haircut since September because I was determined to find the "right" person. Anyway, after ALOT of research on several different stylists, I decided to go see Grace. She's awesome!  Not only as a hairdresser but a genuine person. I will definitely be back as I can't wait to see what magic she creates with my hair next time.

Went to the Salon for the first time and got my haircut short. Tamara did a great job giving me a low maintainece haircut and styling my hair. I always like it when stylist give me tips to style my hair because my hair is quiet often hard to manage. I am a happy customer and will definitely be coming back here again

Grace is the Michelangelo of hair. With her superpower skills, she makes my very long, very thick hair look rockstar amazing, even after I have left her chair. My hair has always required tedious, frustrating amounts of time to style and look somewhat pretty on a daily basis, until I put it into her trusty hands. Now, with the perfect layers and shaping she does, my hair requires very little effort and always looks great. Huge bonus that she completely respects the length of my hair, and always trims as little as possible, while keeping dead ends at bay. I know other long-haired ladies feel my pain about how difficult it is to find a stylist who won't chop way-too-many inches off your hair. Believe me, give Grace a call.
