Salon at The Post Oak Hotel in Houston, TX

I got my nails done today and my tech was amazing! I can't remember her name but she said she typically works weekdays if I remember right. She was very gentle and skilled with my gel manicure! Probably the best manicure I've ever had! It was pricy about $120 including tip for a gel manicure and gel removal, tax, and service charges but it was very convenient. If I ever end up back in Houston I will see her again 100%!

I would not send my dog there. When you walk in this place sometimes you are greeted at the front door by a gentleman that ask you what you need. He tries to comment you with a beautition that can handle your needs. He introduced me to this lady that messed up my $500.dollars wig. She cut to much hair off the part in the front of my wig. Then she wanted me to bring my wig 1 day be my appointment. And I did that one day she was not there so I left my wig with the man at the front door. The beautition told me not to ever leave the wig with the man at the door. By then I was very frustrated and mad. I would pay $130 to $150. To get my hair done and I would still have to go to someone else and pay them $50 dollars to curl my hair smh. And my daughter went into the salon one day and she was told by some stylist that they wer accepting any new clients. This place is a joke. They are not professional at all. I just had a talk with God one day and I told him everything. Something came over me and I texted the stylist and I told her that I could not make it to my appointment. Around 6 months ago and I never been to this place again I was so miserable. I got horrible service from this place a real nightmare. They are not professional at all . Don't waste your time. And the stylist there are very messy. Too much drama for me. God sent me a private styllist. She is so meek and humble. I told her what I been through she was like wow. And she told me that I was in good hands with her. And my hair las a month and I only pay $140 to get my hair done it last me a month. She knows how to care for my weaves and wigs. And she use excellent products. When I use to go to salon in the park I used to feel bad and confused. But know I am at peace my stylist don't gossip she have wonderful conversations and she always tell me uplifting comments Salon in the park south post oak they need to burn some sage to calm and get rid of those energy vampires. You n that place because it's a dark gloomy energy in that place for real. They stylist are not happy people at all. It's like they hate coming to work and you begging them to fix your hair smh. I wonder do they only go to work just to pay booth tent. Please if you can stay away from this please because money spends all day. We as customers do not have to put up with dry and rude stylist. Thank are dry and rude and they want you to spend your money with them. No I don't pay for horrible service. Please y'all believe me stay away from this place please. Find you a private stylist. My bestie and I were here on Saturday. Her husband treated us to a spa/salon day and scheduled it for us. It was a surprise for her and I couldn't be happier to go with her. This was a great experience overall. Lauren took care of me and was a great beauty expert. We had plenty of interesting conversation. We had a wonderful relaxing experience. The pedicure was really out of this world. My hands and feet feel so smooth! My best friend's husband got us a gift card to take care of the appointment. When I got to the counter, we didn't have enough on the gift card. I believe he was misquoted on the service's prices but there was also a "service charge" tacked on that we were unaware of. I proceeded to take care of it but was slightly annoyed that we experienced the same thing in the Spa. The SPA and SALON should be transparent about all of their charges if there are giftcards included. Please don't just list the service and catch your guests off guard at the register. It dampens the whole experience. The parking validation was the same. We ended up paying something extra even after it was validated. Also, this "service charge" only pays 16% to the service tip so it wasn't even going directly to the nail technicians.

Curt Darling is the best hairdresser I've ever used! My hair is wavy, frizzy, and thin. Through out hair history, it's been difficult to get the right cut. However, Curt cut it dry and I wore it for months before I needed a trim. He's fantastic. I'd recommend him to anyone!

From the moment I walked into the door I could tell this was a special place. My stylist Traci who has just move there from another location. Has really made an excellent choice. It is easy access from the freeway. Just pull right up and Valet Park and they will validate your parking for you. The salon is absolutely beautiful. The employees were all attentive and of course Traci gave me the best service and haircut I've ever had. Kudos to you Traci great job!
