I'm a guy growing out my hair for the first time. Nicole is an absolute joy to work with. Aside from a simply amazing trim and style, the education she provided on how to maintain the look I was hoping to achieve is priceless. I highly recommend RUUT Aveda.

Great, great salon - easy parking, lovely facility, super friendly staff! Salon always runs on time which is greatly appreciated. Nicole (part owner/master stylist) is awesome with color, cut and style. Very knowledgeable about Aveda products which work best for your hair - never pushy about buying products but well stocked if you want to purchase. The space is very clean, comfortable and relaxing. Shampoo chairs are massaging - so relaxing and scalp treatments are included with shampoo. Long time client of Nicole - RUUT is an outstanding experience. Enjoy

Great service, staff, and products. Such a calming atmosphere. They staff really goes out of their way to make you feel special and unique. Highly recommended!!

This review was prompted by the RUUT's lack of informing clients of policy and what I would label as "Extremely unpleasant manager and poor client service!" My son always goes to this salon with his father (my ex-husband) to get his hair cut and colored. I decided to call and make an appointment because my sons hair was getting long... I called and made an appointment 2 days ago. I had a true emergency the day of the appointment... Suffice to say.. I did forget to cancel my sons hair appointment... I am guilty of that! The next day the manager called me and told me that it would cost me half of the cost of the scheduled appointment as that is RUUT cancelation policy and in order to reschedule the appointment with her staff, I would need to give her a credit card immediately. I was totally unaware of this policy and was NOT told of this policy at time I made the appointment... When I explained my situation as well as told her the cancelation policy was never explained to me and I asked for "a pass" this time and would be happy to reschedule my son for his $115 appointment, she just foo-foo'ed me and stated that if I was not going to pay the cancellation policy charge NOW, my son would NOT be able to be service at RUUT EVER again! She stated his father, who is my ex-husband was explained the policy and that was enough for her... I stated to her, I was not privy to that information as he is my ex, not my husband.. I have been in the service industry for years, and this to me is just bad customer service... RUUT I have some advice for you... Firstly - Always explain your policy at the time of scheduling an appointment and secondly, if you have a client that has an issue or emergency, relate to them and have some compassion and look for middle ground... You lost a client that would have been a cut and color for years which means thousands for your salon as well as many, many referrals!

Liz was great. Highly recommend. Talks through what you're looking for and what she is going to do. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the hospitality of all staff from the moment I walked in the door.
