Took my son here to get a hair cut. BIG mistake! It was not at all like the picture. I was very upset and commented that it was not at all like the picture. The man's excuse was that my sons hair is wavy. I told him that we had gone to other salons and they have always given him what he wanted and the texture of his hair never mattared besides, the picture shows that the top is long and the bottom was shorter, and if you can see, he did the complete opposite! I was expressing to my son how upset I was about his hair cut and Ruby the owner proceeded to yell at me and tell me to get the F out of her salon and that began a back and forth cussing battle because im not about to let myself, and her husband ( who she cheated on btw) begins to accuse me of just wanting a free hair cut. I told him that he better believe that I wasn't paying for it. Just very unprofessional people.
Went in for a last minute appointment and she was able to wash, dry and style my hair exactly how I wanted it! My hair had volume and beach waves it was so cute. Gracias Ruby!
Not very clean inside! They don't clean up after one customer they just sit you in the chair with the 10 people's hair before you.
I came into Ruby's hair salon after seeing great reviews on Yelp. Upon entering the salon, the only person who greeted me was the barber. He said, to have a seat and they would get back to me. My husband and I waited over 15 minutes for him to finish with his client before asking what we were there for. I told him I was looking to get my hair colored/dyed. He said that would be with the other stylist. The only other stylist that was there was a lady working on another woman's hair. She didn't great us at all or even take one moment to ask what I needed. We waited an additional 15 minutes for the lady hairstylist to speak to us, which she never did. Not even a glance! For a total of over 30 minutes being completely ignored! Customer service is how you GET and keep customers. :/
