RISE Beauty Co in York, PA

It was a last minute decision and they took me. I can't tell you how much I love my hair. Tracy was super nice and answered my questions. Not only will I go back but I highly recommend you try them. TRACY rocks.

I went in to RISE Beauty Co. for a few treatments. Now...all three of these were brand-new for me. I've had pedicures and massages in the past, but never a manicure, or a facial...and definitely never a waxing service (oh boy...so hairy). I was very hesitant to have my back waxed--ummm, hello I saw 40-Year-Old Virgin--but the staff were very professional. They walked me through exactly what to expect and answered every question I had. Elandra kept me talking the whole way through and I didn't even feel the first tear. It was way less painful than expected. I cannot recommend this place enough. My back looks so good now. Gentlemen...get yourselves down to RISE Beauty Co. and take care of those unsightly hairs. Your girlfriend / boyfriend / wife / husband / significant other will definitely thank you.

I had a hair style emergency while on vacation. Got an appointment easily from a real human not just on internet. Viv did a superb job on a style from a photo. Got an incredible head massage during the shampoo too. Well worth the money.

This is a nice salon and spa in York and one of the top salons in the area by most ratings. I came here a week and a half ago to just get a last minute haircut since my usual salon didn't have any last minute openings. It was quiet so I had the chance to chat while the staff and the gal who cut my hair. Everything was clean and nice, my hair and was cut and dried and I got on my way. I somehow didn't notice at the time but afterwards, two days later when I washed and dried my hair I noticed it was cut uneven, about an inch difference on each side. I called and talked to the manager, who offered me a discount on future services, but why would I want to get my hair done there again? They have a salon and massage services and she didn't offer anything else except 50% off on future services. I had two conversations with the manager and ultimately nothing really came of it. They didn't even care to see pictures. Honestly everyone was really nice, including the stylist who cut my hair and the manager who handled my complaint, but being nice doesn't fix my hair or ever make me want to come back. There was a clear opportunity to offer something to remedy the situation but they didn't take it.
