Ramon is very knowledgeable about hair and scalp health and has given me lots of great advice, which I appreciate. Most recently, he did my cut and color right before I took a trip to Portugal. I haven't told him this yet, but when I was there some locals complimented me on my hair and started calling me "Becky with the good hair" - so thanks, Ramone! You made me an international celebrity for a week! :)

My mother came back home with her hair completely uneven. I was utterly shocked when she walked through the door. It was not a good cut... seriously uneven. Apparently my mother asked Ramon to make her hair even after he kept cutting , and he called her "difficult" and was apparently furious. He kicked her out for telling him he hadn't cut her hair straight, claiming that he indeed had. I can clearly see he did NOT cut her hair straight!! What an absolute jerk. My poor mother was extremely distraught. Luckily, she didn't pay $75 for that horrible cut. She has had better cuts at Super Cuts.

My wife went in for a haircut and she came back very upset. After butchering her hair, they made it very uneven. She then asked them to straighten it out and Ramon got frustrated and told her to get out. We won't be going back.

I went to Ramon's Hair Salon today for a haircut. When I walked in I told him what I wanted: an undercut angled bob. And I showed him a picture of what I had in mind, but I wanted it about half an inch longer than the picture, about to my jawline. After he did the initial cut, it was still about half an inch too long, so I indicated with my fingers how much more I wanted cut off from the front, and told him I was fine with the back getting shorter, so that I could maintain the angle. Instead of starting from the front and working to the back (which is what you are supposed to do when cutting an angled bob) he started in the back and when he got to the front, he had to cut a few inches off to now accommodate the shorter back. I told him I was fine with that. I even told him I was okay with the back being stacked instead of undercut as long it was even on both sides and I had an angle. He then told me I was difficult. Apparently if you do not like the initial cut and you'd like for him to make adjustments, you are difficult. He was visibly shaking angry that I wanted some tweaks. Then he would cut one side too short, then cut the other side shorter, but each time the sides would still be severely lopsided, longer on one side than the other. He would say, "No that's your ear." But I have two ears, one on each side. That doesn't explain why one side is a couple of inches longer than the other. He then said he couldn't keep cutting it shorter. I am okay with very short hair, I've had it before, but I am not okay with a chop-job, so I said, "But it's still uneven." And he said, "No." And I said, "Look at it. Does this look even to you?" And he lied to my face and said, "YES", then proceeded to kick me out of the salon. This is the worst haircut I have ever had and the rudest treatment I have ever experienced at ANY place of business. I have only two criteria for a haircut, clean angle and even. I got neither, as you can see from the picture. I would give this ZERO stars, if that were an option.
