The owner is a jerk and Can't do nails!!
I had an awful experience but wasn't going to give a review Until one nail broke and another came completely off the very next day! This was only one week after doing them!
First I had to pick a color from the back corner but they have a huge nail polish display in the middle of the room. I didn't like any of the colors from corner area so he found one I liked for me.
Second he scolded me for having different colors of acrylic? WTH
Third he pointed out a brown spot on the side of my nail that was caused by fingers shut in car door. He kept telling me to wear gloves! I told him what it was and he kept telling me I need to wear gloves when working. He doesn't even know what I do!!
Fourth this idiot did not have me wash my hands before putting polish on! And when finished he barely went over my nails with a cotton ball and there was junk under my nails that I had to pick out.
It is a cash only business and I don't usually get receipts for nails done but I've always used cash tho.
I can't believe they are still in business.
DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! I am not from the area and made a horrible decision to walk into this salon bc I was in a rush. I should have known at the beginning since the other two local nail salons were full, and this one was the only empty one. This place is run by an immigrant family of 4. There are NO OTHER employees; just a mom, dad and two obnoxious teenagers. It is absolutely ridiculous. They are very rude, unprofessional and aggressive. The man who seems to have no experience doing nails was hostile and actually threw a metal filer on the floor when I asked him to re-do a part of my pedicure bc I was unsatisfied. I ran out of there so fast as I did not want to continue with this crazy family - but I still had to pay $15.00 for absolutely nothing. The daughter kept bragging about how she was a law student but was making no sense in anything she was saying. Perhaps she can assist her parents with wiser business choices in the future, like maybe trying not to evade taxes. Rainbow Salon operates as a "cash" only facility with no strangers allowed, and remember no other employees but the four of them working there....I would be very weary as to their legal operations as I was not even given a receipt for my "cash only payment." RED FLAGS everywhere!! It is businesses like these that should not be permitted to be running, as they are cheating us of proper, professional services with very little recourse, and are taking advantage of our Country by doing under the table transactions to profit.
