Radiance Nails & Spa in Chantilly, VA

I had much similar experiences to some other reviews on here. The salon had bugs crawling on the floor. I spent my entire time swatting nats away. It was so stuffy and hot in there, it wouldn't have hurt to open the door for some fresh air. The woman was absolutely reckless with the cuticle nipper and finally I told her no more since I was left with 3 gashes. No shaping is done, just cut and file. Most of my nails were crooked. Polish was fine though. Certainly not worth $50. Closer to $35. I would def not come back.

I've tried to love it and I did at first. But I keep getting the same technician that slips while she's filing and gashes my fingers. I told her I hated the color and she said next time pick another color. Next I said cut them a little and I ended up with stubs. Will never be coming back

Chair massager is so nice strong & soothing at this salon so a big plus! It literally shake you! Staff is always friendly and accommodating- I called last minute and was able to get me in for a pedi so I can wear open toe for an event tonight Place is neat and clean inside and asks customer to wash and sanitize hand before picking a nail polish color. Also, Flexive (sic) glass in between staff & client observes health & safety! Will likely return!

So what I'm not gonna do is post feet pics LOL but ***AVOID*** this salon for pedicures. They skip the basics of the basic steps and the finished work is horrible. Let's start with the fact, their massage chairs don't work. The nail tech didn't turn it on for me so I assumed she forgot but I pressed the power button and... nothing. Second, most salons, if not all, CLEAN your toenails. They use tools to clean the sides and under each toenail. No such thing here. Lol. Not to mention, they don't shape your toenails. They just cutdown with the nail clippers and use a file to smooth the ends but that's it. I noticed several toenails were cut crooked and asked her to shape them but... it was a fail. All of my toenails were crooked so I had to come home and shape them myself. There was also a bunch of excess polish so I had to file/peel the gel off my skin. Last but damn sure not the least, they don't remove the bottom plate from the LED light so they literally have your feet ON the plate. If they use the same lights for manicures... well... that's just gross to have your hands chillin where someone just stuck their feet. LOL. Clean feet or not, no thanks. Overall, the experience here sucked. I was hoping to kick back, relax, and enjoy but it was everything but that. It was more stressful than anything. The salon looks somewhat maintained but sanitary practices don't seem like it's a thing here.

This is the rudest nail salon I have ever step foot in. My granddaughter asked for a dip, pedi, and eyebrow wax. She was taken immediately. I asked for a plain mani. Too busy, too busy. Come back later. Workers sat at their stations while on phone. Sit for thirty minutes before taking other customers.
