I got a mani and a pedi, it was an interesting experience. Price was $100 + tip for two technicians. When I looked at my nails when I got home they looked like they were already a week old. I got gel polish. The technician that did my nails didn't push my cuticles back, and he didn't even come close to them. He took a dremel tool to my natural nails before he put the gel on?? They didn't do that to my toes, pedi done first. The pedicure was nice, scrub, massage, lotion, hot wax. The cuticles on my toes, again not pushed back or trimmed. Gel polish on toes, I wanted regular polish, they said gel better, well might be better but they look grown out, and they don't grow. So again don't get gel. They mess it up. Save your money. Go somewhere else.
My daughter and I got pedicures . it seems we were rushed thru. The prices on the wall were alot less than what they charged. For $40 we should have had better foot care.

I was very excited to have a nail salon do close to my home until I went in there. My daughter and I needed our nails done but didn't have time to take our polish off. I told the guy not to use the drill on my nails and he got upset and said he couldn't take polish off without the drill. I refused to let him do my nails and I will NOT go to this place again.
So I hate to be the first to write a bad review especially when it's the first... So I am a cosmetologist myself and I was so excited to see a new nail place come to new oxford. I love supporting local business. I had high expectations when I went in. Everything look very nice and clean, the 2 gentlemen that were there were very nice when I walked in. When it got to my turn, we started off not great. He used the same tools he had used on the previous customer. BIG NO NO, BAD SANITATION PRACTICE ALREADY, cross contamination is unacceptable.. I proceeded to ask if he could not use the dremel tool(the mechanical file) on my NATURAL nails. He gave an excuse as to why he had too, when I know you can hand file and hand buff, since I do this for a living WITHOUT that device. Plus, My nails are naturally thin and they ALWAYS make them worse and sometimes even sore afterwards.. like I said, they were friendly, but I was disappointed with the procedure during...especially since they are a brand new nail salon.
