my husband had gotten me a gift certificate for Pink nails so i didn't want his money to be wasted . That was the first problem because I had to argue with one of the ladies to use it as she said there were new owners and it wasn't good because the new owner only has certificates for 6 months, after calling the new owner they said ok we can use it. The second issue was they said they didn't do extra things on the nails like designs and art , but after asking if I could just get a couple snowflakes drawn on the painted nails they agreed, The worst was she rushed through the last half of the appointment because another woman had come in and was being a bit impatient. I also had to put out way too much money on top of the gift certificate . I would definitely Not recommend going here at all , they really need to be more professional and show consideration to their customers.
This makes me sad to write because the staff really was nice, but my experience overall was just not great. If you have long nails this place isn't for you, if you'd like to be out in a timely manor again not for you, and if you want to pay a decent price this just isn't the place. I made an appointment at 10:30 and left at 12:30. Took over an hour to do a dip polish. Then I needed two nails fixed they charged $7 EACH to make my nails crooked and thick. All together I paid $60 for this and I am just so disappointed.
Kim is a true nail artist! I have been going to her for over 20 years! Her shop is right next to Wawa so it's a great location and plenty of FREE parking! They have a free rewards stamp program and also do facial wax! She is a Hillsborough native as well and supports the town as well as the community! You can call ahead to book an appointment: 1 (908) 281-9484 She also has personally re-opened her store after hours so I could purchase a gift card for my mom for Christmas!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Good manicure however the owner said that the minimum charge in order to use my credit card was $20. Typically there's a $10 minimum with other stores, so this seemed unreasonable.
Have been going to Pink Nail for years. Kim is great. Have been to many other salons in the area, just to give them a try, but I always end up going back here! I get pedicures, gel manicures, waxes. She was the first person I let wax my eyebrows! Recently got lips waxed for the first time:)
