Perfect Look Hair Salon in Albany, OR

I went in just for a simple fade on the sides, I didn't have her touch the top of my hair at all and she did a terrible job. It didn't look remotely like a fade and somehow she made me look like I had a bull cut. Rebecca was my stylist, she spent maybe 5 minutes on my hair and it was 28.85!!

Two weeks ago last Thursday (I have waited a couple days to write this, I am appalled now rather than angry) Helen cut my hair for the second time, the first cut an A-line Bob was good so I left after the 2nd cut with wet hair. I was busy preparing for a wedding so it was a few days before I had the time to style and really check out my hair. The front was fine, but the back looks like someone chopped off chunks with a razor. MANY CHUNKS! I went to the wedding like this! I only know Helen works on Thursday, and this due to the wedding and my work schedule is the first day I have been able to return to Perfect Look to repair my hair. I entered the salon and informed Helen I was not satisfied and my hair was missing CHUNKS she didn't even look at my hair. I told her I would have been in sooner but I was crazy busy with the wedding and this was my first day off since then. She asked me to wait while she finished her current client, 35 minutes I sat and waited patiently knowing Helen must've had a bad day the day she cut my hair and she would fix it no problem. SO I was shocked when I was informed it had been two weeks rather than 1 week since my hair cut and she would have to change me full price to fix it. SHE KNEW WHEN SHE SAT ME IN THAT CHAIR FOR 35 MINUTES IT HAD BEEN 2 WEEKS. I walked out the door dumbfounded and my hair is still chopped up. THANKS HELEN FOR TREATING ME SO DISRESPECTFULLY.

Walked in - no appointment. I was acknowledged and asked to take a seat. Just a short wait and Hanna was ready for me. Hanna asked what I wanted and did exactly what I asked; she was very gracious about the hacking I'd done on my hair and got it all sorted out.  Hanna did an excellent job and I'll be back again!

Went in to get a hair cut and the lady at the counter just stared at me not saying hello or anything. Finally I ask her can i get a haircut? She's says is it going to be a fade? I said yes. Proceeds to tell me we don't have the tools for that. I was puzzled because that's all she all she said. Didn't say anything else. No explanation or apology. Bad customer service and a haircut place that doesn't have clippers to do a fade? Very interesting.

Wanted to get my hair colored and cut before the weekend and could not get into my normal salon on my day off. I called around and was able to get a same day apt with the manager, Hannah. I showed her a picture of the pixie style short cut and color and she got busy. After talking during processing I realized I had met before when she had done my granddaughter's hair years ago when she was at the Perfect Look in Salem! She was pleasant & personable. I was very pleased with the color, getting those roots cleaned up, and I love the cut. I asked if they offered senior pricing and she actually said yes! For 63 and up you get 10% off services! I was even happier about that! I qualified! The cut just cost me $15.50!! Although the ambience is not the same as my other salon, the convenience and pricing was well worth it. When women get their hair done right we just feel better! Thank you Hannah, you made my day...and I will be back. Suggestion: cator to the customer... make them feel valued and appreciated. Offer a magazine while processing, inform them there is a restroom (after 2 hrs) available. Customer care and general kindness & hospitality at your place of business goes a long way! Possibly a 5 star rating!
