Paradise Spa in Salisbury, MA

this Place was TERRIBLE. i went there for a manicure and a wax, and i have never had a worse experience. The woman also would not let me use my credit card even though there was clearly a machine to be used. As i gave her my money she proceeded to give me change and POCKETED the cash right in front of me.

This is a very bad establishment, I went with a few friends to get our eyebrows done and out of the three of us one appeared to get burned under her eyebrow because she wasn't careful with the heat. Another one skin bubbled up in a gross way immediately and she blamed it on her hygiene, even though there was a credit card machine she insisted that we pay in cash only. I would never recommend this place to a friend or enemy and will never be going back.

They do an ok job with nails. I've had better pedicures. They do a thorough job with waxing. The place is stark and unwelcoming. All the massage chairs for the pedicures are broken. Overall, I find the staff rude and unfriendly. I will not be going back here.

I used to be a manicurist so I'm pretty picky about how my nails come out. Vicky does my nails (acrylic) and she's phenomenal. I've been to a few other places in the area and she is by far the best.

I came here for an upper leg wax, as all other salons were booked during Yankee Homecoming. Before starting the wax, the lady asked if I wanted the back of my legs done. I thought this question was bizarre - I've been waxing for decades and the back of the legs are automatically done without question. She claimed that she has clients who only want the front done. Perhaps there was a language barrier?? She did an OK job, but she asked me to hold my skin taut when she waxed near the bikini line. Usually the aesthetician does that herself. I should have checked for a license - I didn't see one posted in the waxing room. Strange experience.
