OneEleven salon and spa in St. Petersburg, FL

I was in town for a couple of days, and I wanted to get my hair cut with curtain bangs. Natalia had a late cancellation and could've gone home, but she was more than willing to take me in! She was super sweet, we did not feel rushed at all, and it was the BEST hair cut I've ever gotten. She also educated me on how to take care of my bangs and my hair. I love my bangs and layers!

Alyssa was able to fit me in and someone actually answered the phone on a weekend morning to help me get scheduled with her. She did a detailed job and brightened my meh hair color that I'd been suffering with to grow out.

Virgin black hair here - and was debating on the idea of going a bit lighter. I fell in love with the before/after pics from here and their Insta so I decided to commit. Best choice made because Yu-Lee came through and magicked (I've got no better word) my hair to life. There's so much dimension and I adore the blending. Yu-Lee was even considerate to color my hair in such a way my white/grey hairs would blend in while growing out! The salon is so cozy and bright and everyone is friendly, considerate, and professional at what they do. Pricing was reasonable to me, especially considering my virgin hair took quite a bit of time to lighten. Can't go wrong with coming here :)

Owner or manager, whoever... Without asking if I was willing to pay the price for a haircut/style, immediately denied my business because I was a male. I do have nicer longer shoulder length hair, and all my life females have cut my hair, unless at a barber shop, its just how I was raised, I trust my hair which I care about a lot in the hands of a woman. "The way things are evolving, I don't have time to cut mens hair." I came in looking for a cut and style and would of been more than happy to pay $150 for the hour to get my hair cut and styled properly. But i was referred to a barber shop and told to take my business elsewhere. Would of been nice to get my hair cut here, was not expecting to rudely get shooed away.

Yu-Lee is seriously SO AMAZING! Not only is she a magician with hair, she's super thoughtful and takes into consideration what we talk about into her work. For example, she remembered me saying that I lived kind of far from the salon so she tried to make my coloring low maintenance. She took her time in teaching me her tips and tricks in maintaining healthy hair. She even walked me out with an umbrella because it was raining. A huge plus is that her hair washing beds are so comfortable and she thought about all these ergonomics so that the sink doesn't hurt your neck. She even put massaging mats on the beds!! It was soooo relaxing. She's so fun and easy to talk to. I really enjoyed my session and will def return!
