NVS Salon & Spa in Bel Air, MD

I've been a long time client of NVS. I used to see Jenny Paul, but after she left, I was a head without a home. Holly cut my hair and did a phenomenal job. She took off 20 inches and took the time and care needed with such a big change. She listened to everything I wanted. Seriously, if you're looking for top notch, Holly is your girl.

I was looking for a new Salon to go to and stay as a client. I had my appt... wash, cut, style. It wasn't anything above anywhere else I've been... except for the price. I understand 4-45.00$ however I was shocked it was $70.00... I left a nice tip as my Stylist was wonderful. Although when I got home I had to trim my bangs. I guess I wasn't paying attention in the shop. I had already put Shampoo on the Counter that I believe was another 60-65.00$... I just figured oh well just get it and consider it a lesson. Ask for prices up front.

Don't go here. Receptionist is a snob. Not friendly. It's difficult to get into an appointment, and if you need to reschedule It's going to be a while before you get in. I've given NVS more than enough chances. My review is legit. Not everyone there can cut hair. (When my regular girl left, I was sent a coupon via email for 20 percent off everything in the next visit. The receptionist actually argued with me, in person, that I couldn't use it! She finally realized she was wrong. No apology! I was so mad.) My regular girl left and they scheduled Angel to color, highlight,lowlights and cut my hair. Several times, I was told that no one else was available. Angel did not reference what color was used in the past. She said she didn't have to. It was SO dark. She PRETENDED to cut my hair, here and there. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I insisted that someone else fix my hair, ASAP. I got scheduled with Sara. She did everything to fix it. Took a long time doing it. But it was much better. She has been doing my hair for the past 4 months, and I'm mostly satisfied. Recently I had to cancel and reschedule my appointment. Again, it would be two more weeks. The receptionist doesn't care. OMG. I'm done. I am looking elsewhere.

This place is horrible!!! The lady Gale cut my hair horribly and then went on to call me a liar about doing it, and the manager backed her up saying she would never do that!! Horrible customer service and horrible service! I'd advise everyone to stay away!! I've never been called a liar so many times in one sentence in my entire life!!! They wouldn't fix my hair or give me a refund.

Beautiful salon; receptionists are always so friendly & helpful. Gail is my go-to hair dresser since I've began going there - she's fit me in for last min appointments when I've messed up my hair & does a beautiful, thorough job. Very happy!
