Stylist very clean... a plus to me, especially with Covid going on. Very accommodating, style was not too tight or stressful on hair and I didnt have to tell her anything. I give 4 stars because I want to see how the products used take with my hair and it was my first visit. I will say the service is pricey but with the level of professionalism and cleanliness, I had no problem with the price.

I will start off by saying that Ithoan has done my hair several times and I have never had a problem with her work until now. I reached out to Ithoan 2 weeks in advance for passion twist. I can't sit long and she was very accommodating to scheduling 2 days for my appt. I sent her a pic and specifically told her I did not want long twist, 16 in was the longest I was willing to go. She was suppose to call me when she got the hair but didn't. It wasn't until after she stuck me under the dryer for an hr so she could take care of some personal problems, before she told me the store only had 18 in. After 2 twist were installed I immediately told her the hair was to long. She cut the hair but it was still to long. After taking a break and waiting on her to "pop out" she asked if I wanted it shorter only to tell me if she cut it anymore, I would look like a Lion. I told her to take the hair out and I left the salon. I spent my whole Saturday there and got nothing. Then she had the audacity to ask me to pay her. I already paid an $80 deposit and gave her an additional $60 for my wash and condition. I'm so disappointed, this was suppose to be my bday hair and she messed it up. Had she told me in the beginning she couldn't find the 16 or 14 in, we wouldn't have wasted each other's time. Very unprofessional stylist I would not recommend this establishment.

My first time going and definitely my last time! I got there at 10 and didn't leave until almost 4. I wanted a crochet style but the end result looked awful! For the price I paid it was definitely a waste of money. I visited the instagram page to see some of her work and thought she would be good. This made me rethink trying someone new again without seeing their personal work. Also, it seemed the stylist may be suffering from OCD, she wore gloves the entire time which explains why my braids were so loose and also she used napkins for things she had to touch.  For $240, which was very overpriced, I've never experienced anything like this and was not worth it. So much more I could write on my first experience there, but I'll end it. The only positive thing I can say is the salon was nice and very clean and good atmosphere.

I have been going here to have my Locs serviced for 6 months now; 1 visit per month.   Itohan has won my business as my loc-tiction.  She is very professional, clean, knowledgeable of natural hair.  She really really takes good care of my locs and has great styling skills.  K.Brown
