Although the nail techs at this salon are sweet and do a good job on manicures (not as good at pedicures, especially painting the toes), I must caution everyone that NP Nails & Spa does not sterilize their implements. I got a nasty infection on my thumb called "paronychia" a few days after getting my nails done here. My doctor immediately asked if I'd recently had my nails done. It was the most painful infection. I ended up having to go to urgent care to get the thumb incisioned and drained and couldn't use my hand properly for over 1 week. Not to mention cost of 2 medical appointments, antibiotics and lost productivity for days. The top of the nail separated from the nail bed and I'll have to wait many months for a new nail to grow in. If you do go to this salon, PLEASE make sure implements come out of a sterile pack or at the very least that they spray them down with alcohol. I was the unlucky one for not noticing they didn't do this. I was used to it being done in my home state and being new to Charlotte, just assumed nail salons here did the right thing. Lesson learned the hard way!
I love this spot! I visited before my wedding for a signature pedicure and pink and white nails and I had an amazing experience. The ladies made great conversations and made my time there worthwhile. My toes and nails were phenomenal!!
Great customer service, good pricing, very sweet people! I've been coming in for a bit now and their acrylics last me practically a whole month! Very much worth it
The people were great and kind. However, I was not very happy with the results, I paid $69 for a nail that looks like I got it done for $30. It was not very pigmented I could see the acrylic. The line was awfully drawn, it was very uneven and the line are so thick. Also, my cuticle was cut. I had a high expectations but I walk out with unsatisfied.
I think I'd give no stars if it were an option. It was very hard to communicate with my tech and you would think for almost two hours and $60 I wouldn't have striped uneven nails. Save yourself some time and money and go somewhere else
