I've been going to Nick at North Bend Nails for 2 years! He is the best! I love the ombré nails in all shapes, gel colors, as well as designs. His prices are also the most affordable not only in North Bend, Washington but anywhere in the local area!
i went in for a basic manicure i was done in less then 15 minutes, everything about it was absolutely terrible for 25$
I don't like leaving negative reviews for small businesses, however, I would not return to North Bend Nails. If you don't care about price or plan to only have your nails looking nice for a week, this might be the place for you. I went in for a gel polish change. This appointment only took 15 minutes. He sanded off my old polish. He pointed my nails in a strange way to where there is a color gradient that I did not want. It's lighter at the base of my nail and gradually darker towards the tip. He was very rough with my hands, too much grabbing and pulling. Not gentle like you'd expect a nail tech to be. He also did not get close enough to the cuticle with the color so it already looks like I've had this color on much longer than I really have. There were 2 people working and I feel as though they were just rushing appointment to appointment with no attention to detail. $28 for polishing my nails. no nail trimming or shaping, no manicure.
Not impressed left the place with my nails glued to my skin and one finger bleeding because Nick was trying to get them unglued from my skin. I had to stop him as it hurt really bad and didn't want to have my fingers bleeding. It's been 2 days and my fingers are still in pain. Not planing to go back your fingers should never be in pain when getting your nails done. On top of that called to make an appointment showed up and had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment should have started.
This is my first time having my nails done since moving to North Bend, and I was incredibly impressed by this spot. It doesn't feel rushed, the pedicure includes hot wax, sugar scrub, and a nice massage. Manicure was done extremely well and I didn't feel super pressured to do shellac or dip like I have at other places. It was a little pricier than your 'typical nail salon' -$50 for a manicure and pedicure. The quality of work and the extras make it well worth it. I will absolutely be back!
