I went to New York Nails on yesterday. That will be my last time. I had a pedicure done by the older man. My feet feel like I have not had anything done to them. This is the first time I had a pedicure and my feet are the same as when I went in. Even my toenails were polished poorly. I will never again pay $30 for a foot soak. I'm still in need of a pedicure!!!!!

I never had a worst experience in a nail salon then here. First of all , when I walked in the place looked dirty and not comfortable at all. The lady asked my what I wanted I said full set and pedicure I asked for a nude color but wanted her to paint the white tip for then the other lady to yell out "I don't do that" I'm in awe and confused at the same time. Another customer had to explain to her what I wanted and then a guy came to me and said it's okay walked to me to a chair. Where I waited for the lady to finish her client. She then comes and I show her a picture of what I wanted and she yelled out again "I don't do that" I explained to her again I just want it nude and paint it white on top... she started putting my tips on where the tips were not even my size and had big gaps. I asked for short nails do to my job and a little natural coffin and then again she said "no , do square" I said okay ... she later started to cut my nails with scissors not like nail scissors but SCISSORS she then started to file and the tips started coming off and while she was filing it she was hurting me at the same time !!! I had to tell her to take it off that I changed my mind. Worst experience ever and would not recommend

Lets start it the appearance first, it dirty, unsanitary, and down right disgusting! I was praying the whole time to God not to get staph! The old short woman was mean as hell i believe she was even telling the other people that worked there off! The mani she gaved me if you can call it that was ridiculous! Polish everywhere, she barely cleaned it off! I was going to get a pedi but opted out once i saw my mani! This place closed down

This was pretty horrifying. This place is so filthy and cluttered, I should have run away. Additionally, there is a bit of a language barrier.

On the other hand, there wasn't a wait and both the girl who did my nails and the lady who waxed my brows were quite efficient and I am okay with the results. Also, it is $10 for the mani, $10 for the brow wax, which is fine, but I had a hard time finding the listing for a regular mani on the board with the prices. I guess they do mostly fake nails.

Anyway, I've said it before but this time I mean it. It make take more arranging and more time once I get there but I'm going to the Aveeda school in Metairie next time I need nails done or brows waxed.
