Natural Nails in Mason City, IA

Was not helped pick colors. I was told to look at a huge selection on the wall and tried to figure out what was gel and what was just paint. He did mine and my daughters nails they looked horrible. Not going back

Was sort of greeted. Told them what we wanted. Sat down at seat he pointed to.  He started working on my nails and I asked what he was doing, and he said a manicure. I stated I had told them and signed in for a full set. He acted disgusted. The actual nails looked wonderful when done, but throughout the time spent he was difficult to understand but mostly he was telling me that these were a thing of beauty and I had to take care of them.  I continually said I've had my nails done for years and know but he continued. Made me feel like an idiot.  So three days later I had two nails come off and several others were starting to come up.  By the time I got back to the salon a third had fallen off.  I showed them my nails and he stated I had to have done something to them. I stated NO.  The first two fell off in bed while sleeping. And if he would look more carefully at the nail he'd see there was no tearing involved. I believe it was bad glue or poorly applied glue.  He argued. I said what was he going to do to fix. He said for $15 he'd fix.  Figuring I was getting no where I agreed.  Once again the same speel on things of beauty and I can't be treating them badly.  Was so disgusted.  And less than a week later all my nails had come off.  DO NOT GO HERE FOR FULL SET.  I hear the lady that does pedicure work is wonderful though.

Will never give this place my business again. I went in for a pedi, my daughter wanted acrylics. The paint job on my toenails was terrible - as another poster said 'it looked like a child applied it'. Even though they had a sign out front "acrylics 25.00," they charged me 50.00 and said it was due to the length and polish my daughter chose. Save your money and have a 4 year do your pedi and be prepared to pay double what they advertise for acrylics. I wish there was a zero star option, there's too many nail salons in Mason to accept this kind of service. Never again!

I need to let all of my friends and family that they should NEVER go to Natural Nails in south bridge Mall. On Tuesday of this week my daughter went there to get her nails done. She had her friend go with. While she was sitting in the chair having her nails done by one of the employees at that salon. He had a conversation with the girls and he made a comment that by the looks of my daughter she eats more the her friend and that she was big. That comment hurt my daughters feelings. He later asked why her friend was not getting her nails done. She let him know that she works with residents and she did not want to accidentally pinch them with her fake nails. He then asked her if she slaps the residents. She responded no right away and was shocked that he would say something like that. There was another incident where that friend was with another friend and she told her friend that she was ugly.
This has got to stop. No person should ever say these things to another person.
My daughter left that place feeling down on herself..

I made a phone call to that salon and I was told that I do not have a witness to that conversation, my daughter will hear worst when she goes to college.

I asked to have name of the male person that did her nails and they let me know that his English is not very good and they had no idea what his last name was or how to spell it!

I later got a call from the owner and he said that he was sorry and that that person likes to joke around with the girls( by the way he is around 50 and had lived in the USA for several years).  The manger said that he was going to talk to his employee and get back to me... that has not happened..

My daughter paid for a service and got  harassed by the person doing her nails!

This is no way anyone should be treated!!! Please save your time and your respect do not go to Natural Nails!!!!

Went in to get my nails done, the technicians were all on their phones and said nothing to welcome me.
I sat down to get my nails done, the man looked at my nails and said "These are going to be hard to do. Your nails are like nobody else's. We'll see if I can make them pretty again." I have gone to many other nail places and nobody has said anything about my nails.
While he was smoothing out the acrylics he got too close to my cuticle and made two of my fingers bleed.
Now that my nails are done, the skin around my nails is all torn up and I can see my nail on the side of the acrylic.
