NAILS NOW in Corvallis, OR

Too expensive...they change their prices all the time. I didn't care for owner...I hate to see drama when I come to be relaxed. Gave them 2 tryes...

Hated my nails. If I could I would give a negative 10. Had dips in my nails, she didn't clean up under my nails so the acrylic was left under the nails..... I went to another salon to get them fixed...... my nails where awful. By daughters nails though turned out good. I would not recommend the lady that was right by the front desk. But I would recommend the two girls directly behind the front desk.....

I wasn't going to post this review but so many people have said that I need to, here it goes...

I have been here multiple times over the last few years and I've never had an issue, they were always friendly and took their time, always a great experience. Now fast forward to my visit this last January 2023. I wanted to treat myself, I stopped in for a pedicure. I didn't recognize some of the faces inside, figured they got some new workers, no big deal. A Woman who sits in the front, who I think was the owner and I recognized her from before, told me to go with a lady that I could not even communicate with, she didn't speak any English at all, she was going to do my pedicure. No big deal as everyone I've had do services there does a great job... But She was rude from the beginning, very rough with my feet, and didn't even give me the massage (comes with almost every pedicure, but I didn't get it this visit, she rubbed lotion half way into my legs and called it quits), or the additional hot rock treatment that I chose on the pedicure menu. She sped through it so quick, normally that pedicure takes about an hour, sometimes more, I was out in around 30-35 minutes. When I chose my pedicure and my color, which I was told would be an extra $5... I was fine with the price... Then after she was done she told me it was $25 MORE than agreed upon. The ONLY thing I will say is she did a great job with the gel polish, the finished product looked good.

That's not where this story ends. Fast forward to end of March and I'm getting ready for my honeymoon. I was about to schedule my pedicure appointment and I noticed that my big toe nails on each foot didn't look right. I didn't notice it before because it was not easy to see, but the nail was getting raised and thick on exactly the part that had gel polish on it. The nail was almost deforming but it started directly on the polish line. Then in the shower a few days later my right toe nail just popped off... Then a week or two after that the left nail popped off too. I put the nails in a bag I took them to my doctor who informed me that he was almost positive I had a nail fungus, or that my nail bed was horribly damaged in some way. Over 41 years on this planet, been getting my nails done in salons since 1996, and I've never had a fungus, until now. Now my feet are awful to look at. I loved my feet before, my whole life I had beautiful feet.

I called to inform the salon of this, when I called I was accused of "trying to get something for free", I was told I was lying, and she even told me I was "lying like the OTHERS".... The OTHERS?!  How many people has this happened to? I informed her that I only wanted to make them aware so this doesn't happen to someone else and I was hung up on. I hope that this review either gets the health authority to go do a pop in, or makes them take accountability for their actions. I have since met someone that told me that my story isn't the first time they had heard of someone having their feet/nails damaged/harmed by this salon.

Now my feet are ugly, hard to look at. I'm very self conscious about it. I no longer want to wear sandals, open toe shoes... Walk on the beach barefoot, etc... Tried to enjoy my honeymoon, but everyday I had to look at my ugly feet. They are not even growing back right, my doctor said they probably won't ever look the same. This salon and their negligence caused me to have to live with deformed looking feet, I do NOT RECOMMEND this place. And if you try to let them know they did something wrong be prepared to be called I liar and then be hung up on. Sad part is I used to love this place.  I had been there so many times. Even recommended them to friends. Well never again.

I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a business yesterday at this salon. I have gone to this salon almost every time I get my nails done for the past several years. This last week I went and the Owner, Mimi, was the one who did my nails. She cut my skin, making me bleed in multiple spots, didn't fill in the nails all the way, left them crooked and didn't file them evenly.
On top of the rough handling and poor attention to detail, she made me more uncomfortable than anyone ever has. She asked me questions that were way over stepping boundaries as a stranger and was rude, insensitive and gossipy. I will never step foot in this salon again, and you shouldn't either. Mimi did transfer me over to another nail tech named Chey and she was great, she fixed what Mimi messed up and was very gentle. Mimi should be ashamed for the way she handled herself. I have never written a review for a business before, but my experience was so beyond terrible that I needed to share.

Visited this place for the first time and got a full set acrylic nails with a design. Was told at the beginning after showing a picture of what I wanted 70 but after being charged was told 95 when asked why the increase she was the design was too complicated and costed more. She also cut my nails, was really rough with sanding. And let me leave with my underside of nails unsanded. I ended but going to a different shop the next day because the nails looked so uneven and as if a child had done it. I definitely would never recommend this place to my friends.
