Nail Spa in Walterboro, SC

Enter at your own risk. Service here use to be professional but not any more. I've frequented this business many years and has always received good service until recently. Even talked my husband into beginning to get his nails done, and he was pleased for a while. We had a bad experience on our last visit. First After getting there early in the morning and waiting, a lady walks in and says she has a doctor's appointment she must go to so she needs to be seen and out by certain time. They took her before us! I ask about it from the technician as he was beginning to do my nails after she left. He was very unprofessional and had a bad attitude. Then he told me it would cost $70 for my nails while I paid $55 the last time! I questioned why! He rudely said I don't set the charge- my boss does! I asked the owner if the rates had changed but no response. This ended up in a very unprofessional argument between the owner and the technician in their language. The owner ended up doing my nails. After two weeks this is what my nails look like. Neither my husband nor I will step foot in this place again!  We'll take our business elsewhere!

So I went in to get my set off. They were dip and two weeks old. I was ready for them to be off. She said it would hurt a little and they still looked good. Talked me in the cutting them short and repainting since the first set was dip powder. He's my choice to go with it. However. I didn't realize they would look this bad. My thumb mail was still tacky when I left so went back to get it fixed. She said it was my fault because I didn't put my thumb all the way in. Which yes it could have been. However I put it in like she said and she didn't correct me how it was. Then you can still see where the clear polish didn't cover the whole mail the second time and she buffed some color off. I felt rushed and piss poor work. Will not return. I should have just taken them off completely like my original plan.

This is a surprisingly great nail salon! I had a gel pedicure and manicure, and it looks flawless, not to mention they were super careful so as not to let any oils or dirt get into my base coat when applying the gel, so that it will last longer, and so far I'm going on week 2 with no chips! They're very professional and clean, using pedicure basin liners and autoclaved tools. Highly recommend!

My mother treated me to a mani/pedi in this salon for my birthday.  The man who did my manicure and pedicure was EXTREMELY rough. Very aggressive cutting the nail on my big toe, (well, all my toes), and aggressive "massage".  The whole pedicure was painful.  Not only did I leave this place with an infection, but the man who was doing the pedicure kept looking up my dress, and then touched me "there".  I am not going to sue, but I am never coming back and I hope to forget this nightmare someday.  I just wanted to die.  I hope others read my review and use this facility with caution.
