Nail Spa in Lee's Summit, MO

I was really disappointed my dip powder nail today. This salon used to be my favorite nail salon. But I don't wanna go back anymore. I'm not sure but seems like the owner changed. The nail tech was not doing right. My left thumb's nail looks like dented. She used e-file too long and right part is more lower than other part. Their Facebook mentions 10% off every Tuesday and Wednesday. But I didn't get any discount either.

Have been going in here since around Christmas time and there very clean and friendly. My most recent trip was with Helen, and she did a great job on my dip. She even helped me when we we're getting ready for our trip in a pinch. They offer the basic nail services as most local shops.  They also keep a sanitary station that you can put your phone or keys in while your there to clean them.

Do not recommend. Pedicure was OK at best, people were nice but DO NOT get dip powder at this place. They have no idea what they are doing, my nails turned out awful and it was VERY overpriced. There are other much better places very close.

Quality work and good folks here at the nail spa. There may be a wait, but it is well worth it for the service here. My family frequently visit the nail spa and are always recommending friends and family. Harry and Tina are running a beautiful operation!

I HIGHLY recommend this salon~more directly Harry (who's also one of the owners along with his wife). They've owned it for approximately 18 months or so, I THINK. To begin with, I'm not easily impressed-I'm picky, detail oriented & overall I'd say I'm high maintenance (I'm not bragging about this but it's true). My best friend set up (dip powder) manicure appointments for us about 8 months ago & I've been to sooooo MANY nail salons over the years & RARELY have I been so pleased with my nails AND how thoughtful everyone in the entire salon is. I've had 2 other techs do my nails once each so Harry does my nails most the time & I do wait for him no matter what. It's the BEST dip powder manicure I've ever had-most others I've had start to lift at the top of the nail bed after a few wks but Harry's have NEVER done it. To begin with I should say that they have complimentary drinks (soda, water etc) AND snacks (a moderate variety for a small business in my opinion) AND whn I've brought my daughters in & they're not getting their nails done, they still offer them food & drink & once I was in a pedicure chair getting my pedicure & my teenaged daughter was waiting at the front & the tech went to her & told her she could come sit with me in a pedi chair & even took the time to show her how to operate the chair-they weren't making any money off her that day & most places/ppl wouldn't be so thoughtful especially if they're not a "paying client". They even ask me a few times throughout the appointment if I want a drink or snack if I didn't initially want a drink whn I get there. I usually walk in (with no appointment) & sometimes I have to wait for Harry. The last time I had to wait about 20 minutes, he gave me a hefty discount & did an accent nail on both hands for free. Honestly it was MY decision to walk in without an appointment AND MY decision to wait for him not knowing how long it'd be so I did NOT expect a discount. My daughter will even go to the salon alone (& she's not usually comfortable enough to go somewhere alone at her age so it's a huge compliment she does that). They don't get irritated if you want to change something-such as, I didn't like the color after a couple nails were done & another time after looking I wanted more length cut off AFTER he'd filed them etc & I should've noticed sooner but I was distracted & talking. I've been many places where if you even question something they get angry or frustrated etc. I really can't think of anything to complain about. The only possible negative I can even think of is that Harry isn't really fast but I don't want something just done fast-I want it to be efficient & done right & thoroughly the first time. I usually do dip powder on my fingernails & gel polish on my toenails & I've NEVER had it come off, chip, etc. They also have a punch card where after so many purchases/visits, you get a discount & it doesn't take months to get the discount. It's ALWAYS clean & I'm so comfortable there. They DEFINITELY go above & beyond!! (Especially for being reasonably priced)
