NAIL CARE SALON in Macon, GA

Found this place in tiktok as I was looking for a salon that offers GelX. I was home for the holidays and familiar with the area but never been to this salon. Their work seemed really good especially since they offered GelX. Called the place to confirm they offer GelX and made an appt for this type of application. I get there and the salon is so messy and didn't feel clean. I should've left right then and there. I was sat right next to the entrance so people were constantly coming in and out. It was not an enjoyable experience. The place was so hot and muggy I felt like I was breathing dirty air. I waited almost an hour over my appt time just to get some guy who didn't even listen to what I asked for. He asked what I wanted, I showed my inspo pic and ask for gel x... he gave me acrylics. I should've stopped him as he was gluing the tips to my skin and nails but at this point I was over it. It's hard to stand up for yourself in a salon like this because they don't even listen to begin with and they don't care about your overall experience nor nail health. Even when you do and make them do it right, best believe they're talking bad about you to their people in their language. So rude to even do. They just want the money. One of the big reasons why I stopped going to salons. The overall work was so bad and ugly. His acrylic application was so thick and messy. He tried to convince me to put a design on my nails to cover up his shitty work. Obviously if my inspo pic doesn't have design, I don't want design... Never asked me to wash my hands after drilling thick acrylic so had acrylic particles all over my hands during polish application and even rubbing in the cuticle oil on my hands with the particles. I wanted red french tips for christmas and he had to redo one nail over and over again, leaving red polish all over the nail which you could see below the french tip line. My inspo pic had a NUDE and almost see thru base then the red tip. This guy gave me PINK acrylic, obviously not see thru, then painted red polish. EW!! Left polish all over my fingers around my nails. Through out the appt, he tried talking to me which it's hard for me to understand those with strong dialect as i'm hard of hearing, he proceeded to laugh at me and talk in his language to others (which i find very rude in general as we all know they're just talking shit about you). I never understand why the act like they can't speak understandable english. I rather you do my nails, correctly, and then i'm off my way. Paid $78 for shitty work and nothing what I asked for. The girl at the desk knew i called for gelx, watched this guy apply acrylic, looked over multiple times with a face like "i thought she was getting gelx" and not once did she say anything. I also find it rude and uncomfortable to watch you complete the transaction to see how much tip you're leaving them. I'm saying hovering over your shoulder watching you think about how much you're leaving. I wanted to tip 0 but I gave the guy like $13 tip. I knew I was never coming back and just wanted to get the hell out of there. They know what they're doing when they pressure you like that and damn was I a good target that day. I ended up going to a different salon to get them taken off. Since GelX isn't popular in this area, I ended up not having Christmas nails and i'm out $90 in total. Let's just say, I am not going back to this place nor a salon ever again. I'll stick with private techs who care about your experience and nail health or start doing them myself. It is not worth the time and money to deal with these people when they don't care about anything but flipping customers.

I was giving a 5% coupon the last time due to the horrible treatment and having to leave with soar toes from being abused by the work witch they are all related. They would t let me use coupon because it's not for hands or feet service. Guye game me the coupon only if I took down my review. I thought I did but when I came back tonite to rewrite it after this again gross treatment with coupon it was this here. Maybe that's why lady didn't want to do my lashes. If your looking for a nice clean relaxation experience, while being respected and pampered while getting your nails done or lashes, be aware, this is not the place for you if you are afraid of bugs, spiders do not answer this is my experience I will not be trying to use this coupon for hand and feet service I will never come back again

I wish I could rate it a 0. It's literally so dirty and now my nail is infected. This place is expensive for absolutely no reason.
