She doesn't know how to do 4c hair and she messed up her younger client hair such a horrible job was done!
Should receive zero stars! This lady was just on TikTok live without the consent of the child's parent until after the fact! She did a horrible job on the babies hair. The child had 4C texture and Monica is not skilled in that texture! She also was talking about the child's hair in Spanish on the live! Then had the audacity to call someone and tell them the commenters were talking about the child and forced the child to speak to whomever she called. This lady is unprofessional and not skilled. Needs to go back to beauty school or be upfront with 4c texture and let them know she's not skilled! The heat on the blow Dryer and flat iron was so so high it mad no sense! She passed over her more than 2 times! Ridiculous! She needs to go back to school!
Monica does an amazing job with my hair and her personality is amazing she makes everyone feel welcome. She's been doing my hair since 2017. Her shop is growing and it look great in there.
This place is awesome being that they are dominican they actually know how to work with all hair types and texture's. I've personally have tried black, white, asian hair salons but they have not pleased me the way I feel when I walk out from Monica's Hair Salon. The staff is very kind and very attentive to what you are looking to do and achieve.
They are a bit unwelcoming but I love my hair. I got color and a blow out. Definitely an older salon but all and all my experience was okay.
