My experience was fine up until the technician cut out the skin between my toe and nail. I did not have ingrowns and was not experiencing any issues or pain prior to my pedicure. She made both of my big toes bleed, and then told me that "it needed to be done" when I gave her a look and told her I was in pain. I'll spare everyone the photo, but one of my toes is now swollen on one side and is sore to walk on as a result of this. I wish I had gotten the specific person's name, but I will not be going back.
I was recommended by a friend to try this nail salon after searching for a place that did dip powder nails. There's quite a bit of nail salons in the Manhattan area, but you're definitely missing out if you don't go to this one! It's a new company compared to the other shops in the area, so all of their equipment and products are new and they do a great job of keeping everything clean. The staff definitely aren't new to nails, though, and everyone makes sure that you're happy with your service before you leave. I went to Mimi during my first visit and was completely sold! She did such an amazing job and kept me coming back with her friendly conversation and high level of expertise. My nails always looked great after an appointment and it wasn't too pricey. My only regret was that I had to move away for work after coming here for only a short time. I know it'll be hard to find as great of a nail tech or salon as this one!
I don't usually get my nails done and this was my first time getting acrylic (I usually just paint at home) and I loved it! This place is very clean and organized, and the staff is friendly. My nails are also exactly what I wanted. This is definitely the place I'll go to if I need to get my nails done again!
