Love Love Love this place hands down!!!!! The owner did a weave for me. So quick, professional and friendly.

Second time braiding
Started an hour and a half after appt time so I wasn't too happy with that, but I know that happens often and I'm used to it.

I got box braids this time and they looked Fantastic the first week. Lovvvved them. The owner started the braids and then had two other women finishing them so they were done in under two hours! This is how to not be in the chair all day people!
Fast forward 7th day and we have major slippage. Most of the braids are a full inch from the scalp now. I'm pretty sure because she wrapped around hair. You can see in pic.
I was sure these would last a month or more but 2 weeks in and I don't think I feel confident that some just won't fall out.
I've been doing a braid over the top and big buns so you can't see the slipping, although I would prefer her to be able to wear down.
If we do go back we'll probably do cornrows again or crochet. I like that her shop is large and kept clean and she's friendly.

Terrible.. Made an appointment didn't get seated until an hour later. The girl who was prepping the hair was slowly taking her time, Not wanting to do anything. Brushed my hair very lazily. She yanked on my head and kept banging the brush on it. Hair required some blow drying but it was blow dried on high heat even though it was as dry as a desert with a little bit Pink Lotion. I could smell my hair burning and she burned my scalp from not constantly moving the blow dryer around. And she knew it was burning because a door had to be opened. Instead of communicating with clients, they stare at you like you have 6 heads and talk about you in their language. Finally someone comes to do the style I want and it's loaded with gel at that. RUSHED JOB, 4-5 people but only 2 stylists! If you have very natural hair don't come here. A potential customer was lost. DON'T BE FOOLED BY ALL THESE top ratings, I usually go to Wilmington but I was super that day. Next stop is DELA

very very very great hair braiding!!!!  love that she loves the lord and shares his energy.... her work is impressive and she is very talented.....

Reminds me of those simple hair braiding shops in Harlem. She does them nice and tight, is really sweet, and prices reasonably.
